I still love this game. Not gonna lie the picture of the girl that smiles and reveals a clue to a puzzle at the beginning of disc 2 still creeps me out a bit haha.

One day, I will try it again and look at it through a different set of lenses - artistic ones. When I think Drac, I think horror. It's a horror game, for sure, but maybe looking at it from that different perspective will give me new enjoyment for it. Glad you enjoy it though!

D and D-2 aren't really that scary as much as artistic. Sorry, but you're not wearing the brown pants for this one. Try Dying light, or if you gotta go retro try Resident Evil 3 Nemesis purely for the intensity.

I wonder if the game would have fared better with U.S. audiences if it had today's tech for the quality of the FMV. It sold over 1M copies in Japan, which is nothing to sneeze at, for sure.

Good point. I guess you can become one with dad/D at the end by approaching. But technically, that's a whole new lifestyle to lead, so again, not dead. :)
