@@mrmasivdudd4316 There were 2 build, 1 with a working turret (V2) and 1 with a mockup turret (V1). Maus V2 was blown up by the Germans, but the turret was intact. Then the Russians made a Maus by placing the V2 turret on the V1 hull, this is the Maus you can see at Kubinka

The Panther II only had a hull built, and Gaijin completely made up the turret. The idea for an 88mm gun was scrapped.

Favorite one is the M4A1(76)W HVSS, but it’s safe to assume that there are more chances of a BR decompression than that variant coming into the game.

@@tsarbomba4620 im stuck in a hard place as my tree is now stopped by the panther II and tiger 10.5cm as im not sure when they will be removed and i wont even have the SL to buy both i think by time both get unlocked, without premium and coming average in games i get as little as 2-3k SL a game if i sit middle sometimes in the minus, if im top i typically still come out with like 10-15k SL.

The Panther II only ever had a hull built and would have kept the same 75mm Cannon, the turret game is a complete fabrication and the 88 was scrapped. The one in game isn’t an actual historical design.

The last officially active Sherman tanks were finally put out of service in april of 2018

@@Dockhead Well, the first rank will be interesting, a mixture of prewar, captured and improvised vehicles (such as a Somua S35 but with a British 6pdr) 2-5 rank will be fine, there are a decent number of vehicles. Rank 6 and 7 will be interesting. Perhaps they can be filled with the nations that formed after the breakup of Yugoslavia?

@@alexdrizly630 it would be very interesting, not to dilute Yugoslavia, but i think to make sure the tree is big enough is to just add in multiple nations under 1 tree. having looked up on them vehicles they would certainly be interesting to actually see in game and i could assure they'd be no worse than some already in game. with gaijin being Russian im surprised they've never ventured into adding vehicles from around there culture or origin etc of around the countries they occupied once upon a time. not sure if i have worded that bit accurately but hopefully you get my point.

Add the Israeli M51 Super Sherman. 105mm French gun on a Sherman.... raw insanity. Also, the Israelis bought M10 Wolverines, and fitted then with the French 75mm gun (same as is on the M4A4 SA50) would like to see that in game as well.

The Maus never actually saw tank to tank combat. The Soviet overran the Kummersdorf proving grounds April 21 1945, capturing the 2 prototypes, one which you can see in a museum today, and the Germans didn't have the resources or time to make another one since they surrendered just weeks later.

Please make the Maus an squadron vehicle or make it the same as those little french tanks (research unlocked after some point like unlocking tier VI) Point is don't completely lock it out for new players who will not get a chance to play it

Remember, Bruce loves all of you guys. Also my personal favorite Sherman in game are the French Supers, that gun is basically the Panther's but firing a lethal solid-shot round that for me doesn't make me miss any HE filler when it lol-pens people. The AMX-turreted one is also hilarious for just unloading into a hapless tanker that can't seem to figure out which row of bushes the shots are coming from.

My favourite sherman is Save the maus A give germany panzer 58 mutz panzer 61 and panzer 68 and leopard 90mm bordkanone!

there are 112 major variants of the sherman; in world war 2 and post war

Instead of removing tanks why not just separate ww2 and post war tanks by rank or BR so that the Maus never faces cold war era tanks.. then limit the amount of those tanks that can actually be on the battlefield, that way it encourages more teamwork.. allies will need to flank more while axis will have a HVT to protect? If you start removing tanks because some salty players are moaning because they don't know how to engage them or play them or because tanks weren't mass produces or saw combat.. then you are gonna lose your loyal players and then by your own logic you'll have to remove almost all top tier tanks

Maus was very hard to be balanced, so they removed it Panther II in War Thunder has a incorrect model. Panther II is basically a Panther with different turret (not Schmalturm, but Schmale-Blende) and thicker armor

Man I really wanted the M4 748(a). Too bad nobody can get it anymore.

My favorite sherman (and id love to see this in warthunder) is the m51 supersherman (not to be confused with the m50 thats already in the game) its personally my favorite for it having the longest gun out of the sherman family.

Pls don't remove maus

The Sherman Jumbo 75 mm is my favorite tank because nothing can reliably penetrate it from the front. Even though the gun in't the best, you might still get assists for the damage you did. The M4a2 and M4a3 are good as well because you might bounce some shells if you angle well. I bounced a Panther 3 times before.

Out of all the Sherman variants in this game, I have almost all of them except the M4A3E2(76), the Sherman's were the first tanks I went for when I first got the game on Xbox One, my favorite's are the M4A1's at 3.3 and 4.7(now put in 5.0) just because their cast hulls look different from the other Sherman's with welded hulls. Im in a War Thunder milsim group for an armored division and I named both my M4A1 and M4A1(76) W, my M4A1 is named "Jean"(the female name, not the one that sounds like john) and my M4A1(76) W is named "Cat Slayer" because after 1942-1943 the Germans names almost all their tanks after felines.

don't forget the punched out section on the side of the turret that exposes the gunner.

I love how people say the 10.5cm tiger was only a blueprint but that's not entirely true. The gun itself existed but the Germans weren't able to build a turret that would accept it. What I'm saying is the 10.5cm tiger almost existed but the war ended before one was ever completed

Since the Maus is gone now remove the Russian tanks

To translate what the comunity wants is : Please don't make the Maus an event/remium/pacage vehicle, we want it to stay in the tech tree. The Panther II , 10,5 cm Tiger and the Coelian are justified to be made as an event vehicle but the Maus isn' t because the Taran Is available as a premium vehicle wich makes it accesible at any time and the Taran like the Maus was only one built. The Maus at its br Is performing below average because lower or at Maus's br light tanks can outmanouver it and destroy it with 350mm pen HEAT. Make the Maus playable by either removing the HEAT or increasing their br. Cheerse from CZ🇨🇿. Hope you can find some inspiration in those ideas.

I love dunking on panzer IVs with the heat round in my 105 it's quite satisfying seeing an Australian f2 or other IV rolling by then BAM. Armour penned tank destroyed so fun 5o see

I just want to be able to have a camera on console in order to reply battles, so I can make little shorts and clips like on PC.

what about the marder family? or KV family

Lets remove all the shermans in the game because "they are impossible to balance, and it doesnt matter that its an iconic loved vehicle" Rip maus

@@reid1283 ur dumb even if an enemy tank hits the front of ur sherman angled at 85 degrees itl pen and instakill ur whole tank any less armour and itd be HE'able plus the gun is very average with low speed for such crappy armour

@@reid1283 i mean, the only good sherman is the m4 and m4a1, since in that br enemys wont have good guns, after that they are just a good target practice, german 75mm just deletes them, no matter how far, or how angeled. Shermans are way too overrated, and mostly useless, cuz their weak armor and avarage gun.

It’s wacky cause the 76W Sherman M1 gun was actually 75mm but was called 76 so the ammo wasn’t mixed up with stock Sherman’s. The only 76mm gun the us mounted on a Sherman chassis was the M10.

the sherman tank is a customizeble tank example: oh no we run off anti aircraft guns don't worry we have a sherman for that
