So glad you did! There was a lot to explore as a consequence of the Phantom Guide theory, and there's still more I'll have to dive into later.

That was insane, deep and complex. I watched it several times. I may have to rewatch the Bongo Bongo video too. (Good for the algorithm by the way)

A good theory. I like the longer theories. Might I suggest revisiting your multi video theories, like this set, after some time has passed, adding some updated (future) commentary, editing the smaller videos together into a larger one. Just two ideas I have yet to see other channels do. Either way, I'm interested in seeing more of your content.

I like to rewatch theory videos as z marathon, so this would be extremely convenient!

I love it, it addresses everything and makes perfect sense.

I still believe that bongo became a dark interloper at some point or the shadow clan was apart of the dark interlopers, who else would be responsible for making the fused shadows? Also there are tearless eye symbols in the Twilight realm like in zants throne

The idea that the origins of the Yiga Clan extend as far back as OoT is interesting to consider. However, that idea clashes with what is established lore in both OoT and BotW. I don't discount the notion that there could be a Shadow Clan, based around ideology instead of heritage, hiding amongst the greater population of Hyrule. Though the validity of such an idea as canon may be in question, we do see a group of Ganon worshipers in AoC that are independent from the Yiga Clan. The identity of the Shadow Folk in OoT is without question the Shiekah Tribe, as they are referenced multiple times throughout the game as such. It is possible that the identities of these "enemies" of the kingdom punished by the Shiekah Tribe in the Shadow Temple and underneath Kakariko Village could still be captured members of this Shadow Clan. Even the possible identity of Bongo Bongo could continue to be considered a leading member of this Shadow Clan while also a Sheikah Tribesman. After all, we know that dissent against the royal family can run deep even amongst the Sheikah Tribe. That could help explain the brutal treatment of these "enemies" as well as Bongo Bongo. The need to seal them underneath the graveyard and village could be an attempt to prevent the populace from learning of the royal family's misdeeds in this matter. Perhaps the entity of Bongo Bongo created the Lens of Truth in an attempt to reveal the evil performed in the name of the royal family to the inhabitants of Hyrule in an attempt to sow dissent. One could even argue that this could be the trigger that began the Hyrulean Civil War in the first place.

Do you think you can come up with a theory on how “a” Lens of Truth ended up high on the mountains in Termina?

This theory video of the Shadow Temple is well done because this temple is the only one I know what it's like to feel fear. I recently found an interesting Analysis video of the Shadow Temple from a youtuber called 'Macintyre' on how much influence of Ancient Greek Roots is a part of the temple! kzread.info/dash/bejne/faOAl9qfodWvpKw.html I'm also curious about how the Japanese lore of this game view this temple as well!

I missed something, when you keep emphasizing the power of making things invisible being bestowed upon the lens of truth. I’m not sure I agree with you, the theory was nice to listen to. I thought you might have connected Sheika tech and Sheika ninjutsu to the walls that glamoured the torcher chambers, and entrance ways with walls that aren’t actually there.

An interesting question, and there are some bits of dialogue surrounding the Shadow Temple that made me wonder this as well. There's the "ferry to the other world", which made me think of the Twilight Realm (a stretch, but this had me intrigued). Then there's Bongo Bongo's title itself, "Phantom Shadow Beast", which made me think of the Shadow Beasts from Twilight Princess. I personally don't think there is any correlation between the two, but it's fun to think about nonetheless. Of course, I lean toward the proposed Shadow Clan being the ancestors of the Yiga Clan.

@@Retroatron it's just interesting, seeing as the Japanese name for the Twili is *the shadow clan*, and they have a lot of commonalities with the ancient Sheikah. 😁
