The Shameful Case Of Erika Girardi

This is the story of Erika Girardi, and why I believe she willingly accepted money that her husband Tom had stolen; how she very likely knew what her husband was doing long before the press started to report on it; and how, even now, she seems to feel no remorse for the people whose money she still lives off. Allegedly.
This is a follow-up to my video about Tom Girardi from March of 2021, which can be found here:

I had a brief interaction with “Erika Jayne” back in 2011 when a club I worked for tried to bring her act to London. I had the “pleasure” of communicating with her for all of 2 minutes and she was rude, full of her own self-impotence & just not very nice at all. I remember thinking at the time “how can she have such a fabulous life; being so rude and nasty to everyone” Well, this video pretty much answered that question. I’m still actually surprised this person has avoided responsibility for THIS long; but if we’ve learned anything from this story is that it will all soon catch up to her.

The major 1st article with Erika's name in the headline came out in the UK in 2016 saying client settlements funded her lifestyle. Erika was named in a 2018 lawsuit as a co-defendant for stolen client funds. Erika was subpoenaed in May 2020 saying she was filming rhobh and unable to be deposed, they subpoenaed her again in Sept 2020 which she answered the same way. She then filed for divorce on election day in an attempt to bury the story. She's doxxed a federal judge. She's posted to social media mocking the victims. Her business acted as a tax shield and many of the "gifts" are unaccounted for, like a Chagall painting she was given in an episode of rhobh. Remember in 2019, Erika bragged she'd worked at the law firm for a decade and was basically an attorney with all her experience- she now claims she never said this despite it being in an interview as well as a TEDtalk.

A couple thousand dollars could change my life. It's so difficult to conceptualize people living like this, stealing like this. And to siphon millions from your clients only to respond "lol no" when investigations and lawsuits start. $750,000.00 earrings. Edit: I also absolutely loved the video. The contrast of Erika writhing around on the set of her faux music videos (I'm guessing?) in sequined bodysuits while the narrator speaks on the people whose tragedies she helped exploit for money. Her success is built upon the backs of the other people's misfortune. I don't think her character could have been illustrated any better, and this was both entertaining and disheartening.

I wouldn't say that the state Democratic machine "protected" him, more like they just used him, and let him use them. It's gross that wealthy donors can easily get this kind of access to high-ranking elected and appointed officials. But all the actual politicians and officials distanced themselves from him as soon as his crimes came to light. The actions of the state bar are a little more murky (it's historically been a notoriously corrupt organization) but the LA chief of police wasn't out there hiding evidence to protect a big donor. Can I just say something? This isn't meant as a slight to people who enjoy these kind of content creators or the content creators themselves. But on KZread it seems that there is an empire of stones being thrown. Stones thrown in glass houses and towards peers. One content creator will do a hit piece on another creator; lambasting either their choice of content or diving into (and thus exposing/preserving forever) possibly true or false facts about someones private life. Judging them for things they may have done in the past, that may seem egregious but only if you look outwards. Theres a sense that people forget that we have all done things we regret and just because someone makes a living making videos on KZread, that doesn't entitle the audience to ruin their livelyhood/reputation in ways most people know they would never experience. You should always punch upwards, because punching your peers can be seen as petty and all it takes is for the clock to strike midnight and your day of reckoning comes (look at Pyrocynical, someone who made fun of Behind The Meme, only to become a literal meme himself now; the "guy who had to admit he has a fetish for farting hyper-inflatable dragons to over 1 million subscribers". So when I see Georg's content, talking about millionaires and billionaires who for some reason, no one seems to want to talk about; even though they are actually the ones doing crimes so abhorrent that the only way they avoid jail (or worse) is through their fortunes. It's incredibly refreshing and I thank you.

Posting thrist traps and gaslighting the vicitms and feeling sorry for herself trying to get gag orders on investigation like 4 times and silence any truth getting out and trying to block investigation into her finances lying constantly saying shes cooperating ect ect while her "friends" cast and her "fans" support her... 🤮 the fact that's enough people out there that thick this behaviour just her RECATION to this nevermind the facts that she clearly knew SOMETHING who think this behaviour is ok is disgusting.

Talking about how shes a victim because shes a woman who had no other options than to marry a rich man and what's wrong with society that she didnt have better option, wtf? It was whitney Cummings hosting or soemthing like I hate humans sometimes, a guy who had 90% of his body burnt, widows and orphans who have nothing but shes a victim but shes in her words a "hot" older woman and being like shamed or some shit while she lives a less luxury lifestyle still better than 99% people probably, on her probably million dollar slaary, urgh I hate "those" type of people and these "feminists" who thing being a woman is a reason to never have to take accountability for anything as a woman it find it insulting. So detached from ordinary people yet love to play the victim and gaslight real victims, gross. @@lanceash, It's not a culture issue, but a psychological one, people can and WILL defend any form of psychopathy because of their compulsion to follow others. And all the media does, both mainstream and alternative, is to highlight and accentuate this desire, people love to hate and above all, people LOVE to seek out victim narratives to cushion their own boredom and general apathy to an outside crisis that doesn't directly or indirectly affect them.

@@harriet4564 I love this rant. It gets down to something very flawed about our Neo-Liberal cultural understanding of feminism. The morals of this system are bankrupted because it's all posturing without any systematic change. Largely identarian based politics are the results so you can't criticize the judicial branch. Her personal responsibility for the victims isn't valid either because systemic exploitation isn't allowed to be addressed either. So all that's left is the smoke screen of feminist identity. My favorite example of this is prolly "War Woman" from Invincible instead of the historical reference her counterpart is she's a successful stock broker on her way to the glass tower with her name on it. Yeah when I think feminist role model I think Nancy Pelosi insider trading.
