I love the cuff of the steam locomotives; it just makes me happy for some reason. Great video thanks.

Hi Matt Thanks for the video. I liked the sub-titled commentary it is very helpful to those not familiar with the line. Not many railway line videos do that. Thanks again.

You had a good day out there Matt - Great video and so a thumbs up from me. In my schooldays I remember seeing Blue Peter at the Doncaster Works and me and a friend bunked up a wall to get a glimpse of her through one of the high windows of the workshop. We didn't see too much (only a name and part of a boiler) and got a ticking off from one of the staff members so we scarpered very quickly - boys will be boys even then. lol

That's a great story, I would have love to seen any of the locos 'in service' but quite fond of Blue peter. Indeed a great day on a great Railway!

Great vid. I do hope it didn't spoil your day to be working the camera all that time. I think you were lucky with the weather - not too hot for filming but the right sort of day to be riding around and visiting museums.

Third and 5th axles of WD 600 had flangeless wheels i noticed but I may be wrong. 23:00 what a momentous travel in a 110 year old coach still in Great Northern teak livery. I think I have one kit-built in OO scale. 28:00 thanks for walking along the whole teak train, what a treat.

I trust your knowledge! Believe it or not, my first trip in a teak set, very humbled and one of the highlight of the day.

In the early sixties my dad and myself went on the seven valley railway which was still running from Shrewsbury we caught the train from cressage station which is about seven miles from Shrewsbury we got off at bewdley and spent some time there before returning to cressage the line closed a couple of years later and cressage station is now a private house
