The Seven Little Egyptian Goose Goslings Foraging by the Lake with Mom and Dad.
The 7 little Egyptian Goose goslings is probably about a few days old. The goslings can walk within hours of hatching, and they can swim, feed, and even dive when they are 1 to 2 days old. They also preen to keep clean and healthy.
Both parents care for their goslings until they are able to fly to protect them from predators such as crows, Seagulls, magpies, coots, and animals. The goslings are able to fly when they are 2 to 3 months old but they normally stay with their parents for the first year of their lives.
Little goslings feed mainly on organisms and plants live beneath the surface of the lakes, rivers, and ponds. They will eat insects, worms, grasses, and young plants leaves when they are a few weeks old.
