    Self working card trick: How to vanish a complete deck of cards

  • @Void_VSD
    @Void_VSD10 ай бұрын

    1: Get 10 cards 2: Get them to pick one and put it on the top 3: Make them move the cards a number of times between 1 and 10 to the bottom. Remember this number 4: Reverse the order of the cards, you can move them face up and go through. 5: Face up split deck into 5 and 5 piles, spread them out in your hands 6: Get the right pile under the left 7: Get them to move one card at a time the top to the bottom the number of times of their previous number + 1. 8: Deal and duck until the last card is theirs. I know this is an old video but I hope it helps someone :)

    One of my favorite tricks is similar to the 21 cards/3 rows of 7 but there are 16 cards with 4 rows of 4 that get laid out face down in 4 circles of 4 cards eventually. The spectator picks facedown piles and when he is done, he has picked his card! My dad taught me that years and years ago. 🙂

    A Little idea I had is to use the deal and duck method. You could just tell the spectator to put one card behind first and then to deal. This way you could work your way around the sketchy one more card thingy.

  • @martinboeck997

    @martinboeck997

    10 ай бұрын

    It would also work to duck deal instead. Alternativly in the original trick the solution is always the fourth card from the top. Without the one more card thingy it would be the fifth card.

    Very nice tutorial as per usual. Having said that, personally, I absolutely HATE any deck that is this minimalistic and doesn't have boarders. I think that regardless of deck type, the deck should always make an effort to distinguish card types and make each card as unique as possible so that there is no ambiguity as to the number and suit. That way, tricks and slight-of-hand are all the more impressive. For my money, spectators should be able to very CLEARLY see the number and suit of each card at a distance. Otherwise, the deck fails at its core function/purpose.

    Oh! 48 hours. I thought you said 4 to 8 months. 8-((... _My bad!_ ;-))... That aside. I can never remember card tricks. I do for a while, but older age and good memory do not go hand in hand. So simple card tricks are great and more memorable. _For slightly longer!_ And the better tricks are ones where you're putting the emphasis on the person you're doing the trick too. The less you can _"fiddle with the cards"_ the better the trick is. In my opinion. 8-))... And this is certainly one of the better tricks 8-))...

    The odds are 1 in 52. If 520 people tried the trick as you did, about 10 (say, 8 to 12) people would have it happen to them. It's the "observer effect". It seemed unusual, so you noticed it. Those that don't have it happen, don't notice.

    my favorite self working is where you shuffle and then trade decks with spectator and you both pick the same card after choosing from the previous deck, I got it off of your channel and everyone is blown away by it….only thing required is bottom control, and after you trade decks and pretend to pick the card that you already picked even though your seeing it for the fist time….like I said the deck trade and the Spectator following your every move gets them so confused they forget about bottom control…when you and the spectator flip the same card over at the same time it fools everyone

    as another option because you know the card is 4th from the top, I fan out all 10 cards facing the cards towards the spectator saying I’m going to try and read their expressions again. I then ask do you see your card, think real hard of your card, patter patter, etc. while I’m saying this, I use my left thumb to thumb peek the bottom left corner of the 4th card by sliding my left thumb nail under the bottom left corner of the card and pulling the top of my nail towards me. if you look from the left, it’s real easy to see. free peek at the card! now you know what their card is and can choose how you want to reveal it!
