Great video, appreciate the info. I'll be focusing on the foundation before considering a power adder to my 2020 rf. Posting info like this really helps the community that is barely keeping affordable sports cars alive in this day & age. You are a saint. Keep up the good work.

This is amazing, thanks for making this. Would love to know which MAF/MAP sensor you got to resolve the boost detection. Was it a simple plug and play? Or some more settings in the tuning software

Veeeeery interesting. This is the first time I'm aware you can mount an NC trans into an ND with an adapter plate! Since the NC has 2 different transmission options (5-spd and 6-spd) which did you choose and why? Do they both mount up the same? I've heard arguments from both sides about which is better (a lot of it boils down to personal preference in relation to driving style because of the different gear rations) and I personally have experience with the 5 so would love to get your thoughts.

Super stoked you've made this video as I've had lots of questions about it. With the NC transmission, did it come with/without the gears? If so - are the gear ratios identical to stock? If I decided against the turbo or supercharger, I'd probably get the BBR super 220 naturally aspirated kit for the ND2 RF. Should be a safe bet for the stock ND2 transmission right?

Since all he mentioned was the adapter plate I would assume he acquired a fully stock & complete NC trans. I'm personally curious if the 5-spd NC trans would mount up just the same as the 6-spd, as many people prefer the 5 and the gear ratios are more interesting.

Gear ratios are different, which is why you need to modify the differential. Check out my latest video where I talk a bit more about this!

In colder climates a turbo poses the need to warm up and cool down before each use. Short runs are not healthy for the engine. Hence a supercharger might arguably be better proposition. FYI I own an NC2 and can tell you they too have the transmission issues of the ND. NC3 boxes are stronger.

Hi there. I am an Aussie who is also running the AVO kit on my 2L ND and i have the exact issue described relating to the MAP sensor. Were you able to just use the avo tablet/program to load the new tune or did you have any issues with the tuning part of that? Looking to do that to mine. Any info would be appreciated. Cheers. Gorgeous car man.

@@Vitalewastaken I'll give it a look after work. I got a hold of Lee from AVO and they have since released another tune that made it BETTER, but it's still only the original MAF tune.

Not sure I am seeing a heat shield between your AC and turbo so if not you should or you risk breaking the ac compressor. I lost a couple compressors before I added a heat shield then once I did it has been good for over 10 years. I have the 1.8T setup.

You need to upgrade your rod. I blew up mine after maybe 10-15k km. Destroy engine block, bend rod and so on. It’s now fixed and with the new rod with 7psi of boost no longer an issue

It was around 600 for the transmission, but then you need to get a new differential, clutch, and adapter plate which all together costed an additional 2000.
