Chinese language is imposed on Tibetan. Now it is getting even worse under Xi Jinping. Tibetan Children as young as 4 year old are put in residential school where every thing is taught and spoken in Chinese only to force "one country one language" on Tibetans and other Minorities.

Wonderful documentary. I enjoyed it. The fashion show was beautiful, the garments are distinctive, respecting, and combining Tibetan traditional pieces with modern touch, and appear to be timeless, classical...Heart warming to see this hard working, bright, young entrepreneur with his team. ❣️ Throughout your themes about Tibet, it seems Tibetans have awaken, opened up to modernity, while still embracing traditional values, and keeping their Buddhist teachings alive. China’s Government did a great job bringing infrastructure to isolated towns and villages, reducing time and danger for travellers. It seems too, to modernise Tibet, lift people out of hardships, isolation, provide education and prosperity is an ongoing process of the administration of Tibet. Thank you.

Tibetan life was traditional, nor isolated, they were peaceful loving people who practiced Buddhism. China is now making into a modern version of themselves, armaments, complete control over their people and without any human rights whatsoever. Half communism and half capitalism.

A wonderfully informative insight into the actual rooftop of the world. I was specifically intrigued by the research into cosmic rays and how the Chinese are striving - quite candidly - to gain an edge over other nations/powers, by trying to tap into their energy potential. Meanwhile, I thought a little more could have been added about the region's ecological fragility and major fresh water source of the world.

Tibet under the Dalai Lama was like feudal Europe. Things can’t be perfect but even with Chinese restrictions, the situation now is better than feudal Tibet.
