@@betacross3675 Patent pending or no patent is more useful than patented when protecting secrets. Patent means you have to upload all the technical details and it is available to public, the only use for patent is to sue that company, but it's useless as A, you need to be rich enough to sue over a long period of court case and B, the copycat have little to lose if it is a newly established company, it can just close down the company, the biggest loser is you not him. Patent pending on the other hand is playing mind games, it's not patent yet, it could never be patented or could be next week and you don't have my technical details yet, so you can't do anything.
