Seriously, trying to reinvent the wheel, seriously stepping over a dollar to save a dime. It's not biodegradable and tales longer than plastic to break down, and the energy required to make it far outweighs the benefit of having it, also if it can be recycled it has shelf life, meaning it can only be recycled in ever decreasing amounts then it has to be discarded, and it doesn't biodegrade, so then what, now our dumps are filled with plastic harder than steel. What a joke

India should carefully avoid getting entangled in military alliances. Our defense forces should focus only on defence of india. We should resolve border standoff with china and sit this one out instead of sleepwalking into WW3 in a fight between US and china for primacy and superpowerdom.

The US is continuing with its strategy to keep Asia poor and divided. This policy was articulated in the top-secret U.S. Foreign Policy written 76 years ago. Japan and the Philippines are cornerstones of this policy. February 24, 1948, Declassified U.S. Foreign Policy: Furthermore, we have about 50% of the world’s wealth but only 6.3% of its population. This disparity is particularly great as between ourselves and the peoples of Asia. In this situation, we cannot fail to be the object of envy and resentment. Our real task in the coming period is to devise a pattern of relationships which will permit us to maintain this position of disparity without positive detriment to our national security. ... that Japan and the Philippines will be found to be the corner-stones of such a Pacific security system and that if we can contrive to retain effective control over these areas there can be no serious threat to our security from the East within our time. Taiwan was added to the Pacific security system after Chiang's army retreated to the island of Taiwan in 1949. South Korea was added after the Korean War in 1953. The attempt with Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia was abandoned in 1975. The 1989 attempt in China failed. The 2019-2020 attempt in Hong Kong also failed.

There was a time when I thought Japan was very different from China, that Japanese products were well engineered etc. But now it turns out the Japanese are even producing fake bread made from trees. What's even worse: nanosized materials are carcinogenic. The particles are too small to be recognized by our immune system, and theferefore many of them stay in the body. I have lost all my respect for Japan.

This virtue signaling is so empty and shallow and meaningless. I understand that climate nazis love feeling smug and give themselves head-pats but every time I see a video like this I am going to intentionally burn plastic in my fire pit. If anything we want climate change to be as harmful as possible because suffering builds character...for everyone who isn't black I guess. It just makes them worse. We have a bunch of fat, spoiled, entitled, lazy narcissists and some good old fashion suffering and struggle will transform them into useful people. If you have to struggle to survive you won't be talking about pronouns or virtue signaling about eco-friendly marketing gimmicks.

*USUAL LYINGWESTERNTRASH VOMITED AND DROOLED AND FROTHED BY THE USUAL DROOLING LYINGWESTERNTRASH.* As recent as a dozen years ago I would’ve accepted what I heard from the “western free press” about “north korean/iranian propaganda lies” but today I’d believe anything coming out of North Korea before I’d believe anything coming from the 10,000% lying western “media” trash.

There is nothing close to over-tourism. It is just inconvenient for residents to directly share the space with the hand that feeds. There is also the animosity of seeing the wealth disparity that now exists between Japan and those who can afford to visit - I think this is the big one.

Worth reposting: Someone's Comment: "It's ironic that the theme of this video is a reduction of CO2 and plastic waste yet the product focussed upon is a small part for a machine which has no practical value other than for the amusement of the owner." Someone's Reply: "It's ironic that the theme of this comment is to mock the efforts in reducing CO2 emissions while only focusing on a small part of the video, rendering the comment of no practical value other than the amusement of the owner." My comment: Yamaha's motive is not primarily to reduce the petroleum-based materials and thus CO2 emissions. That's a significant issue, but won't play out big until much later (and even still, obviously, won't make a huge dent towards global warming). Yamaha for a long time has been quite good at making money by producing superior products that the public decides are worth paying for. And, inching towards more sustainable industry, is moving in the right direction. Trust them not to be as foolish as some random commenter.

"There are huge non climate effects of carbon dioxide which are overwhelmingly favorable which are not taken into account. To me that's the main issue that the earth is actually growing greener. This has been actually measured from satellites the whole earth is growing greener as a result of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. So it's increasing agricultural yields, it's increasing the forests, it's increasing all kinds of growth in the biological world and that's more important and more certain than the effects on climate." ~Freeman Dyson, Institute of Advanced Study in Princeton, New Jersey.

Ice cores from Greenland and Antarctica prove that rising temperatures don't follow increased carbon in the atmosphere but visa-versa. In centuries. 800 years for instance. Pollution is a problem. Carbon dioxide is plant food. Just stop already and use your brain and logic. Carbon "credits?"
