I'll remember that one. I know twist ties or cable ties work great when stripping a wiring loom and trying to group things together. Or keep them in place where the branch off.

@@BenMitro Not for the fasteners. Put a red cable tie on each end of the wires at the disconnect, (or lug and terminal), then a blue one on the one beside it, a green one next to that. Same with vacuum hoses and the barbs they go on. Even your brake lines so you dont cross a front with a rear at the manifold block. Linkage connections on your injector pump, bit harder to stuff up, but at least it gives you a starting point when you have those little ball and sockets and 3-4 actuator rods to line up.

You can swap the centre if they are both h260s but your spline Count on the axles will be different, so you will also need to pull the centre apart and swap the side gears, not a difficult job though, you guys would work it out pretty easy. If the diff out of the coil is a h233 you won't be able to swap it though

Hi. It's interesting to listen to the mix of British English, Oz English and other area words used for bits of cars. I'd not come across 'guards' for wheel arches / mudguards, but it makes sense. I get 'bonnet' but no idea where it comes from. In the US I think it's called a hood, which seems a bit more sensible. Who puts gloves in a glove box anymore or parcels on a parcelshelf (rear shelf)? On a sedan, the rear box is either a boot or a trunk. The scuttle thing is interesting. Lots of places seem to call the bulkhead between the engine and compartment either a bulkhead or a firewall but 'scuttle-shake' is the common term for rattles in that area, esp for soft tops, rag tops, or are those cabriolets?

Im pretty sure the 260 diff is physically larger than the 233 in all regards. Im rocking the 233 with LSD in a wagon and it does a really good job. Everything with the 260 was made bigger to handle the ute payloads. So youd have to use the whole setup from the rear to use the 260.

I don’t think Nissan would be mad! If you need help with paint and panel stuff let me know or turbo/performance upgrades I can get you the hook up with raceworks stuff, also loved the video and loved the funeral music when the body came off hahha, you guys should 100% go over the engine with gaskets and seals new water pump ect while it’s out maybe a new clutch I can help out with that too if you need a hook up, - with the power steering, it would be good to simplify the system and run a smaller more out of the way cooler you can small 3inch x8 inch cooler that you could mount out of the way, power steering fluid does actually get really hot, for weight saving I would run an alloy snorkle if you aren’t going to re use the old one, don’t bother with stainless like everyone uses it is heavy and holds the heat,
