Yes you can have joy when a loved one passes away. I too find peace and joy even though my son passed away, he went home to be with the Lord in 2017. I miss him, but I know I will see him again.

The same feeling i felt when my Father died last September 2020. I was on my knees praying and crying onto the Lord and every time i speak to him i can feel his love to the point that i cannot say any other word but “Thank you” and “i love you Lord”. Until one day, i guess that was the third day since my father died, i woke up with full of JOY in my heart.. I couldn’t explain further but its a JOY that i wanted to have always..

The pleasure and happiness that the world gives are temporary. The devil does not give anything genuine, he is the master of making and giving people counterfeits. True joy comes from God, it radiates from the inside out, and it is not dependent on a person's circumstances.

Its very true that when you are thinking others rather than yourselves you will be much happier. I remembered when i am in phillipines i invited lots of friends and there is a time that i have invited almost 40 teenager in one service . I missed those days seeing people Crying and surrendering there lives on Jesus is Priceless. I pray for the passion for the lost so that i can do it here on US.

I want this joy of the lord jesus christ, he is my lord jesus savior my salvation in jesus christ name amen. Please pray for me to have the joy of the lord jesus christ. I have never been a very joy but tears always pools tears my whole life. God forgive me all hurt pain separated from my family.
