Wim Hof got his nickname “The Iceman” by breaking a number of records related to cold exposure. His feats include climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in shorts, running a half marathon above the Arctic Circle on his bare feet, and standing in a container while covered with ice cubes for more than 112 minutes. He developed the Wim Hof Method: a natural path to an optimal state of body and mind.
He says that our brains have the power to guarantee us happiness, strength, and health. We can actually regulate our mind and the autonomous nervous system by breathing and being present.

So fun to watch. Through one I get to the other and I'm binge watching Wim Hof. I've been doing it every day since November 2022. Installed a dip bath on my balcony and after I do the horse stance through yt so I can feel the energy of a group. I have been so traumatized and isolated throughout life that I have developed ptsd, anxiety, panic, addiction and depression, while always being a happy girl. Through these exercises, physical, cold and breathing I feel in control to get out of that low vibration and I manage to build confidence (in myself) because new nerve paths are being laid. Humanity is a soul tribe, we have lost ourselves and people like Wim bring the contact with the soul back into man ❤ Forever grateful 🙏💥💫💞

Wim talks about experiencing the stillness of mind when he is in the cold holding his breath and how awesome that feels. God says “Be still & know that I am God” and i think God is telling us when we can be still...like that...we experience his presence through this. I don’t know but I think Wim has really tapped into something! His is the cold that brings him to stillness, what is it, that would force me to stillness to experience this? He’s right on!

Yes I've been thinking the same. I saw a qhht session on KZread and the person had a message from Jesus about breathing. He said that point where you breathe in and hold (before breathing out) is you experiencing God/Source energy. That's the stillness you're talking about. The Now moment. The Zero point. ❤️❤️

My husband and I lived in a very old poorly heated apartment in Chicago during a particularly cold winter. That spring we visited my brother in Southern California. Temps in the evening got down to the lower 60s. The Angelenos put on light sweaters and were fine. But my husband and I put on jackets and shivered and froze. It was strange. I realized that to us a little cold meant that the temps would soon drop to 30 below. We were cold in anticipation. From then on I tolerated winter because I would just try to imagine that very soon the temps would soar to over 110 and the sun would be blazing. It’s silly but it works. Of course I still wear warm clothes in winter but I don’t mind really complain about the cold like I used to.

He drills it into his students that the mind is not the body. Still it tickled my brain like a tongue twister. So i googled the phrase lol as it's a common phrase. lol Food for thought luv LilyD: A simple explanation [Brain and mind are not the same. Your brain is part of the visible, tangible world of the body. Your mind is part of the invisible, transcendent world of thought, feeling, attitude, belief and imagination. The brain is the physical organ most associated with mind and consciousness, but the mind is not confined to the brain. The intelligence of your mind permeates every cell of your body, not just brain cells. Your mind has tremendous power over all bodily systems.]

The rapport between Wim and Lewis is the best I've seen of all the youtube stuff I've watched. Lewis brings the best out of Wim and allows him to express himself in a way I havent seen before. Love this. Love Wim Hoff man. think he will be more fully appreciated many years from now. A great man ✌🏻❤

I felt almost delirious.. dizzy.. giddy.. very light headed.. this is definitely something that I’d like to do every morning.. thank you Wim Hof

Brilliant episode Lewis, the exercise was powerful. Thankyou for always asking great, insightful questions And, keeping in mind the burning questions of your audience. I love the practical examples you draw out, and offered to do the exercise in real time, so it's not theory, but visceral, real in the now not sometime out in the future. More of real tangible experiences in the interview I feel is the way to go and empower others immediately, shifting beliefs. If people did the exercise with you, as I did, the change cannot be denied. A shift happens to mind and body immediately. This is powerful.
