Unfortunately, when getting over, you lose people in death, having moved away for jobs, or family. At times, ones heath may change and you have a different relationship. It is difficult the older we get. For those who still have child hood besties or long time friends congratulations...

This is so wonderful. The beach day looked beautiful. Your advice is very good in this video, also. As a single lady who has moved halfway across the country, I initially had a difficult time making new friends for various reasons, despite having a desire to make new friends. With some time and smart networking, I've been able to make some pretty good connections. For this year, I've made a commitment to myself to get out a little more and do a little more socializing. My old friends do come visit me, and that helps a lot.

I love the topic!! Adult relationships 😜 are something we hopefully will become better equipped , and have healthier ones. Since the pandemic, when our experiences were all over the place, some of us lost friends in different ways: moved away, conflicts, or in death. We have had to overcome, learn more about ourselves and grow. I remember being in my 30's, it was a wakening moment learning, and maturing, figuring out life and relationships. You have left your 20's and while on your 30's 40's are next. Growth, maturity will happen if we allow it....Btw how you two met is different, but it worked for you, Wich is all that matters. Thanks for sharing.

Very brave of you, I’m not sure I could do it.

I always travel solo and I meet people but I’ll probably never see them again. I do learn things from them like where to go and what to eat and what’s free or worth the money. But some I’ve spent the evening with it had dinner with. So while I travel solo, I’m not always alone. I’ve never traveled overseas yet though.

I've tried it when I moved to a new city; however, my lack of input into the app prevented me to continue a relationship with a friend. Bumble really is a great way to meet friends. All of my friends met in Thailand were through the app.

Yes. I find an African decent braider local to where I am and get my hair redone every 2 to 2.5 months. The braids in this vid i got done in Bangkok
