I attempted to move there a couple years ago, I lasted 6 months...I swear I didn’t see daylight for months! That S.A.D is a real thing. My patients told me to get a sun lamp, I said I’m just gonna go back home to Texas.

Hello. I totally get what your saying about Washington weather. I just got here one year ago and literally during the summer, someone told me here there is high seasonal depression here and to invest in UV light therapy and load up on your vitamin D. It's really bad here. Thank God for therapy! Especially with me coming from Florida and the sun. We have 2 more years here for work and I don't ever want to com back to Seattle. Sorry seattletonians.. Good luck!

The constant rain is why it is so beautiful on that side of the world. I lived in Tacoma WA for a year in the 90s. There was sun for only 3 months in the summer.
