Emilio Diez Barroso perfected the art of appearing very successful. He manages two family offices a venture capital investment firm, sits on the board of over a dozen companies etc... but up until recently, he was always trying to get somewhere other than where he was-seeking recognition, achievement, love, success, and finally, the ultimate carrot: enlightenment.
In his pursuit of enlightenment, he was forced to face what all the seeking had been trying to avoid: his own sense of unworthiness. Defeated at the game of becoming and humbled by the realization of his true nature, he is now dedicated to alleviating suffering in the world.
Emilio’s highest values are connection, contribution and adventure.
He is the author of the book The Mystery Of You, Freedom is Closer Than you Think and is a father to three incredible teachers

Thanks for being a beautiful example of what's possible as a couple. I met Emilio at Dr. Joe's Retreat in Palm Springs a few years ago and I remember his utter kindness and generosity, which was a such a gift for me at the time. Blessings to you and may your love keep flourishing. greetings from Germany ...

I loved this conversation. Your relationship is beautiful. I loved the cleanliness of monogamy and its importance to you all as I have those standards for my relationship, though I have been dating myself the last year. I really enjoyed his processing of how to internalize that in a healthy way but still witness the beauty around him without crossing into a ‘needing’ energetic exchange. I just loved witnessing this dynamic and hearing both of yours relationship truths. ❤ Integrity is also a non-negotiable for me and this love is so pure it sparked my heart in what is possible. ❤

It can definitely be hard to differentiate between truth and triggers at the start of a relationship. Especially when we've had lots of trauma. Actually I'm feeling that right now because something felt off about this interview to me but I also don't know if I'm just projecting. I hope for you that he is a genuine soul xo

I hear your truth and thanks for sharing honestly ❤ To me, it is you projecting, I’m saying this because in my heart I feel my truth is if it wasn’t for all the healings I have done up to this point regarding the relationship between me and Self, I’d feel any signs which demonstrate healthy and blissful relationships rather triggering. I felt it was incredibly healing for me just by watching and feeling into the vibrational exchange between this two beautiful human beings, verbally or nonverbally. Celebration this divine union, appreciate you do the work and spread truth and love 🎉🎉

@@flawlessformula. These are the comments that stood out to me as concerning… Maybe they have something healthy now but this sounds like an incredibly unhealthy dynamic in the start. 5:30 “Everything inside of my body was like no, no, no, no. I was saying no, but the woman (dance teacher) was saying yes and so I just kept surrendering” “This was out of our control, this was what life wanted.” “Emilio literally takes my hips with your hips behind me… You were just like gyrating on my hips” 6:47 “On the way to Ohi, you profess your love for me for the first time… and I didn’t know how to respond because it wasn’t my truth yet.” Just got out of the car and didn't respond. 8:36 “We were under the stars.. and you’re like “I can see us old together”… and it freaked me out.” So the next morning I told you this is a for now thing.” 17:14 “At the time it felt like leaning into a sword” As women especially but also for men, I think its soooooo important to listen to your body and if your body says "no, no, no, no" you need to listen to that and honour it. Was it surrender or denial and supression? And also, if you tell someone you love them and they don't respond to you, that's also very painful and maybe the most self loving thing to do would be to let go of that person, not pursue harder.... If I am projecting, it's because I'm angry at a younger part of me that fell for the same thing and it was a harsh awakening to finally see the truth and have that relationship fall apart (which it ultimately needed to)
