This video was a great reminder for me to retry this hierarchy test with my conure to ensure I’m up to date. Last we did it, hemp seeds were at the top! With corn as a close second. I’ve now gotten my Leila to be highly motivated by Tops Pellets which I’m thrilled as they’re easy and stable enough for foraging toys I can make in advance for the entire week at once. Thanks for the great knowledge as always!

I have a 3 yr old hand-tame cockatiel who was mainly on a seed diet but I've been trying to change that. The biggest problem is that he seems to run away from anything else I try to offer him - seeds, veggies, fruits, parrot treats, I've tried everything! Whether I put it in a dish, on paper, or from my hand, he will literally move away from it like he is scared of it, even after trying for weeks. The only thing he wants aside from his seed is potato chips - he's obsessed with them. I don't give them to him bc I know how bad they are for him, but he picked up the habit from my ex who used to feed them to him :( But if he even hears the bag he is all over the person and trying to steal the chips from them. Where do I start??? HELP.
