This is a subject I have delved more deeply into in various other videos I have on the subject of AI specifically. I do not believe that AI will replace us completely. I have clients who know about AI and still want to work with me because if they were to rely on AI fully to get the product, they still need to learn all about the fundamentals of design to direct it fully. Become very good at one skill and have an exact type of client you specialize in. That will make you more special and be less replaceable.

Yes and I got some of my first clients that way, but you have to know who you want to work with and find those niche communities, otherwise going into the small business groups will just get you lost in a sea of others competing.

You can search for anyone looking for a designer, but keep tabs on the group every day for if anyone is looking for design services. They will ask “does anyone know of a good designer?” And then you can write a short message and link to your site. You should also be active giving helpful feedback and tips.
