After sailing across the channel and riding in Guernsey, we decided to sail over to Sark. To my surprise, it turns out the island of Sark is car free and has only gravel and dirt roads! And it turns out to be one of the loveliest places I’ve ever ridden.

Well jel. I watched a film about Sark and it’s such an amazing community. Logistics for getting stuff on the island for house renovation etc is mental. Such a pity everywhere wasn’t like it.
I could totally live on a 40 foot boat. Very nice. What a cool place.
I spent a week on Sark years ago and it was great cycling everywhere. If I remember correctly there was a port where we were transported from by tractor trailers

Seen that tractor there I wonder there must be a part of the island that allows for heavy machinery to get in. I wonder what kind of farming is done there.

Don't mention Sark and bikes within earshot of my wife! We hired bikes some 30 years ago and madam didn't realise that using the front brake only on gravel will only result in one situation! Now not a fan of cycling!!!
