Hi there, i'm from Montreal and been going with verse 5 for Mtl for some time with no success as for finding the meaning of Lane222, until i found the starting point for verse5 in Roanoke VA. and from there am trying to find someone willing to think outside the box in Rnke and walk the chase with V5. So first line in V5 is Lane(Sir Ralph Lane) if you can find Lane's signature on line you'll see the 2nd line of V5: two twenty two. Roanoke also has a standing rocket wich could be wingless bird ascended. Give it a shot you never know. From my part i found Mtl goes with V8 and once i did pretty much everything fell into place. Good huntin' my friend.

If you look at every image where the treasures have been found. The exact place where their buried is in every image. If you look at the helmet the horns are actually the Wright brothers memorial, another hint its definitely roanoke island. Been working on this one for a while myself. Very tough image to find clues. I'm sure their right in front of us but were just not seeing them.

I got some ideas and don't mind sharing info. It's cool to see the different theories people come up with. Some are way out there and I laugh but hey it's a theory. I think people are thinking way to far out of the box, just keep it simple. I mean honestly you think BP sat there and drove his mind crazy to come up with a puzzle.

@4:06 you say you're not really sure about December. I believe its a reference to the fact that the Wright Brothers flew their historic flight in December 1903. Ironically enough, it was on the anniversary of the Montgolfier Brothers flying the 1st ever hot air balloon. If you recall in the Wizard of Oz, the Wizard is taking Dorothy home on a balloon. I believe the man holding on to the bubble is to depict a balloon (in reference to Montgolfier and being called the man of oz), and there is a map of the OBX by the window.

My mom actually used to be in the lost colony and has connections. She was part of the ensemble a couple years back. Is the tree you are talking about used as a prop? I’m sure you can find out where the tree was when the casque was first buried there. This is a great theory!

It was possibly buried at the location of the fake tree prop. It would have been buried in approximately 1981 and many people have tried to find out where the tree was at the time. Do you think you could actually find out? There are a lot of people that would be very happy if you could!

The red stuff under the belt is the lower end of Roanoke, no question about it. Looks like there may be a little of the airport runways in there on the right (as you look at it, figures left) side. The lat and Long lines are in Kill Devil Hills, but I think that is just for the starting point of the journey. All the rest of the sites say they are usually there to be plus or minus 1 so it's just a range and a lot of that area falls within that range. Unfortunately most of the area on the north end that would make great dig areas are in the Nat'l Park land and Elizabethan Gardens (see their website about what they think of this hunt). By the "rules" both these (as well as the theater) are off limits. Ice Plant Island seems reasonable, but did not exist back in 1981... Hardest part to me about this one is finding something you can stand and look north and dig under that you won't get arrested in the process. I'm headed up there in a couple days to poke around and see what I can put together from in person reconnaissance.... there are so many things in this picture that line up or could be multiple things!

I believe you have some good ideas. I have been researching this for a while and live in NC. When I use to live in Wilmington found some interesting things people have not pointed out on the imagine that associate with the shoreline. Also, in the poem from "After circle and square" everyone I believe has it misconstrued. If you would like me to show you what I am talking let me know and I am sure I can get in touch with you some how, so it is not so public. Thank you for your time, good luck!

Hi! Taking a trip next month and was wondering if you would share your thoughts about the square and circle! Would love to hear.

Some people believe it was buried in a baseball field in Wescott Park in Roanoke.

"Ride the Man of Oz" This reminded me that there's a Wizard of Oz theme park in North Carolina... It's not in Roanoke though. There was a fire in the park in December 1975 and the park closed in 1980

The book was published in '81. Year too late.

The image emphasizes left. It is skewed left of center in the arch way and the left arm of the statue has more detail. I think the arch way represents the arch on the memorial that goes down the left side intersecting the word “resolution “ . Maybe the shadow casted by the memorial at 1 pm will point to the location of the casque.

Sounds good. That 1:00 would have to be in January and after 40 years would only get you close. Sounds like a great spot to use some GPR.

Thanks for the comment. My solution is wrong? Seriously, I don't even have a solution. I don't know where the hell any of these things are or I would have dug them up by now. If you want to keep your solution a secret, I understand. But, it's been 40 years, for the fun of the hunt at least give us some hints at where you think it's buried.

How did your dig go last year? I live in Colorado and plan to go this summer/early fall.

Never got to go. Let me know what you find! I hear that they are very averse to digging and not fond of searchers there unlike other places like San Francisco.

I think this solution is correct. I attempted solving this hunt a few months ago. We are on the same page. I think that the CRO tree is where the casque is buried. Since, I am in India, I used Google Earth to solve this, and using the street view, I found out that if you stand near the tree, and look towards north, you can clearly see the Wright brothers memorial (wings). Incidentally, the words "DAUNTLESS DETERMINATION AND UNCONQUERABLE FAITH" are written on the memorial, as in the verse ("By DAUNTLESS AND UNCONQUERABLE determination"). Note that "determination" and "faith" are similar words.

@@HiddenTreasuresMysteries I have already tried that perspective but a lot of things such as "Ride the man of Oz" ; "Where white is in colour, With two maps", etc don't fit. Also if "the wing" (Look north at the wing) is the Wright brothers memorial, then what are they? If we have to look north from the memorial, there is nothing but the ocean. There are some people who think that the "Last Seen Touched or First Seen Standing" is in fact referring to Wright Brothers Memorial, where we started our journey; there's tons of information on why people specifically think that we have to go back to the Wright Brothers Memorial on the Facebook Group, but essentially the final line "To Achieve By Dauntless and Unconquerable" is written on the Wright Brothers Memorial; hence, we should be achieving our goal BY the words "Dauntless and Inconquerable" There's also an old Water Gate by the Elizabethan Gardens side of the beach that has seen better days, but some believe it was once buried there as well.

The problem with finding buried treasure in the outer banks is erosion. Those islands change yearly. If it was buried there 40 years ago there's not much chance it would still be there. Source; I live on hatteras island

I don’t believe it is under the tree, I believe it is in front of the Albert Quintin Bell plaque in the amphitheater. I have some photos and clues that I think lead to there instead of the tree that a lot of people think about

@@HiddenTreasuresMysteries I’ve heard that if people even try to dig there they can be arrested immediately. That place knows of the treasure hunt and doesn’t want people too alter the grounds, but I think if I ever go there a small probe that can be hidden would be good enough to poke around in that spot without being noticed

Do we know what kind of flower is in the picture? Is it a carnation?

I have wondered if the painting has a reference to Christ and the Crucifixion... look where the sword would have pierced the side of Christ. There is something in the painting there.

@@HiddenTreasuresMysteries it’s somwhere under the Ancient oak tree. And yeah they will never give permission. They even hang up on the phone when you call about it. The scarecrow armor standing the way it does in the painting represents. The outer banks, the Wright brothers, Otto lilenthal and the tree! Under that (tree) Which may be last touched ( by the colonists) Or first seen standing (by the colonists)

The Boston Casque is a fake. Can only surmise that it was confirmed by Trilling and Palencar because more publicity for them equals more money for them. If a searcher can't tell that "the monkey lid" and key with no metal rod is an obvious fake, then I doubt that searcher has what it takes to solve any of them.
