Another great live choppy performance from gojira is REMEMBRANCE the link alive. Choppiest and tightest concert performance from gojira imo.

Remembrance outro, especially on the link alive, is the choppy choppiest of all of the choppiest chops. It just doesnt get choppier than that honestly

Crazy how so much of Gojiras tones and melodies skip right past "cool and heavy" and strike emotionally and cathardically at a much deeper level. Ive cried listening to a few of their songs, lyrically some are devastating and cause deep levels of self reflection, and at times desperation, hope or selflessness. Its really mind blowing to me how some "metal band" is so much more to me than just a band.

So true, just listened to pain is a master yesterday and reading the lyrics took it from a good deep cut to an absolute amazing and transcendental song that can lift you out of the darkest hole

It's like Gojira went to The CHOP Store and the person at The Chop Store was like "Hi, do you need some choppy chops today?" And Gojira was like, "Here, listen to one of our songs," and the Chop Store person just gave them the keys to the store and said YOU HAVE ALL THE CHOPS!

yeah man !!! nice to see you puting Joe's work to light - he is an unbelievable vocalist even though his voice's changed a bit on the last 2 albums - and what's to say about Mario !!! the BEAST !!! next Gojira live track : "pray" live at Red Rock , an absolute banger or "remembrance" from "the Link Alive" DVD ( an older and heavier Gojira track) if you want the true definition of tightness !!!(and one of the best outro i've ever heard )

Such nice chunky goodness. Those drums are THICC! They're monsters live. I need 10% of their energy, it'd make my life easier. A good heavy drum band is Celtic Frost. Live at Wacken 2006, Ain Elohim. It's a sonic assault. It's a different heavy to what you've done I think. The drumming is more raw brutality than technical. Sstyricon - Mother North live at the Opera, Frost is pure muscle and adrenalin on the drums. And the song should be Metal heads national anthem. For double kick insanity George Kollias - Shall Rise be Dead. He's not human. There's a drum performance of it that just needs to be seen to be believed. If you've done any of these slap me and throw me at the reactions.
