    what most people dont realize is that you dont have to have the capo on an exact fret, you can always adjust capo placing to make it fit your vocal range so you dont end up straining yourself to go higher or lower. As long as you have the chords your good to go basicaly

    liked it very much drue. I, though, like the version where the high E string is tuned down to C, more, and the whole song is done without a capo. Saw Chris do it live. But cool tutorial, as always. Cheers!!!!!!

    If you want to play it in the right key, you have to put your capo on the third fret. I checked this with the CD and with my piano since I can play the song on the piano.

    I KNEW IT!! because all the other online tutorials are telling you to put the capo on the 5th threat and play with C, Csus2, F, and Am (not in the right order I know), and it never sounded right.

    There is a lost easier way to make a Bm7 and go back to a hillbilly G the best way of all to make a G for to free your fingers up. Thank you though it did help me with the song keep up the good work

    Hello, yes this was a mistake. the CAPO SHOULD BE ON THE 3RD FRET so you can play along with the song. Thanks for pointing this out.

    Hi Vijeesh, yes it is an F310. I have other acoustics but I always come back to the Yamaha. It's what I first started to learn on and although there are better sounding guitars out there, it just feels comfortable to me.

    Frogman jump It's a Yamaha fg700s. It costs about £140 new. Easy to play and great for beginners.

    Shashi Gupta Hi Shashi, you obviously went nylon string for a good reason. Trust your gut instruct. You can learn fingerstyle guitar on either, it just comes down to what you prefer the sound of. Keep on playing.

    is that a yamaha fg700s? if it is i have the same guitar. but why does mine not sound the same? urs sound so much nicer. Mine is missing that hollow sound everytime you strum down on all the string. :( is my strumming method wrong or something? Love your videos btw, especially the high hopes tutorial, can almost do that whole song alr just that im still having some trouble changing chords. :(

    Frogman jump My review is this... If you're a beginner looking for an easy to play guitar (which you definitely should be if you're starting out) then the F310 is ideal. In my experience anything cheaper than this will sound nasty and make your hands work harder than necessary. Go for it.

    +Na fis_ Yes, if you want to play along with the record you will need a capo. However you can still learn the rhythm and all the chord changes without one. Then when you do buy one you'll be all set for playing along.

    It's 4th for the tutorial. He used the 3rd fret cause that might have been where his pitch matches.

    At start you played and sang the whole song with capo on 3rd frat but then during tutorial you are telling to put capo on 4th frat ! plz teach us which one is correct? thank you.

    3rd is correct, he probably plays on 4th cause its more comfortable for him to sing along. If he literally said put capo on 3rd i don't see thje issue

    This song is disappointing -- too primitive. Also, G chord bar in the verse can be improved by adding 320005 for last two strums.
