The Science of Character
The Science of Character (8 mins) explores the neuroscience and social science that proves that we can shape who we are, and who we want to be in the world. The film is available with subtitles in Spanish, Chinese, French, German, Arabic, Hebrew, Hindi, Russian, and Swahili.
The Science of Character premiered to the world on the first ever Character Day, with screenings in 1,500 different schools, homes, and organizations, all on the same day, and all linked together through a global livestream Q&A (back in 2014, long before this was something that happened!).
The response was so wonderful that we continued Character Day as an annual event. By the sixth year, Character Day had grown to over 200,000 events in 125 countries and all 50 states.

I came from the Positive psychology course on coursera.who is else? great job guys 👍
Very powerful. If you are in school and you are hearing about this its because this is definitely something you need to learn. I am now 27 and I am taking a Career Choices and changes course. I wish someone would have brought these ideas to light when I was younger. I feel like I could have been on a path to success a lot sooner.

Absolutely incredible film! wow! I had chills!
Great video! We used to depend on religion to teach character and a strong family values but so much has changed and we never address institutional fixed mindsets that have passed down hidden lack of character. We have to start having real conversations about how we teach each human being the power of having good character from cradle through life.
Great video, hope everybody (my students) get the idea and get motivated and react to the last question.. what you want to be..
Great work I feel more confident now thank u very much
Excelente video!! Gracias...

A friend recently shared your video and love it!!! I always knew there was more to life than an 8-5 job, and when I retired I found my passion...to motivate, inspire and help others live the life they deserve. I'm so grateful I for this film - gives me a new perspective which in turn will help others! Paying it forward...thanks so much!
This video is totally positive and encouraging to help change one's prospective of their lives! Right on!
This video made me think. Thank you Tiffany!
This is great! Inspiring video! I hope that this century becomes one in which we pay more systematic attention to character education (i wholeheartedly agree with Montessori's quotation on the topic: character education is at least as important as intelectual education). It also comes very handy to me as i am trying to develop an online course (a MOOC of sorts if you will) on character development that uses a quite similar focus on character development as the one presented in the video: it's all about the virtues/values/spiritual qualities that one reflects on and makes choices about.

Wonderful, fabulous, fantastic! I teach the positive psychology / strengths curriculum to schools in South Africa and this film will help me SO much to introduce the idea to teachers and to kids. Bravo and thank you!
Great film, inspiring and encouraging. A growth mindset is what we need to have to extract the best from our lives.

Great stuff! A really workable framework with potentially great results.
Maravilhoso 👏👏👏👏👏
Estheban Huaches Perez
Some great thoughts! keep up the much needed effort to encourage everyone to improve!
So motivating!!! Excelente!
You are amazing.
After watching classroom after classroom of Arts Festival students performing music and enjoying visual arts we derive strength from the possibilities of character each child shines in their own unique way.#CharacterDay
Very good clip! Thank you for sharing.
Mathias Ibrahim Carrillo Villanes.

6:03 Bravery and Creatitivity
There is an odd contradiction between encouraging one to grow their mind in an unlimited way, yet categorize one's character in predefined boxes, asking one to define oneself in limited ways.
Great video.
Good video. Name of song at the end please?
What a world we would live in, if everyone did their part..
While I was brought here by a class thing, I must say her eyes are quite intense. They are a very nice piercing ice blue, just the artist part of me focusing on focal points, anyone else notice the same more immediately?
Great film, can I ask why you have social responsibility in justice (Positivity project doesn't have this) but you don't have open mindedness - which they have under wisdom? Can I also ask about the role of resilience which isn't mentioned but surely part of character? thanks
Thanks school
Song towards the end !!
yup
