3 years ago I had a goal to make $3k a month by the end of the year with my eCommerce business. But then I journaled and asked myself the questions: What if I had to make 10x as much, meaning $30k a month? Then I came up with a plan and asked myself, why not follow this exact plan? Long story short, instead of making $30k I ended up making 'only' $22k which could be seen as a failure, but it was way better than shooting for the $3k initially. Journaling and asking the right questions is so underrated, so thanks so much for teaching more about this topic! - Leon

I love this format. Not wasting any time, no sponsor messages. Making it and helping others do the same it's just awesome. This is going to be a timeless masterpiece.
This is so true! Asking questions is your number one sales tool. My first question is always... “So... What do you think?” After having already welcomed them into my art gallery and having paid them a genuine compliment about something they are wearing. Then my goal is to help them find what they are looking with follow up questions. This is a million dollar formula all day. Thank you Patrick for your willingness to teach!!
Questions are conscious, and answers are unconscious. We can control questions but we respond spontaneously to the task of answering, even if we are doing so only in our head (we read a question in a brochure and it gets us thinking). The unconscious self is emotional and that’s where the sale is made. Amazing video.
Questions lead to the answers. I'm a sales coach and one of the main reasons some salespeople struggle is bc they don't ask enough of the right questions. Questions that create urgency and questions that uncover pain. Great video Patrick
Episode was so good, have to watch it 3 times. Keep them coming Valuetainment Team !
Ask the right questions to the right people. It's all in the mind. Amazing content at Valuetainment! Thank you for sharing! 😊
The quality and conciousness are amazing. A gold nugget for the mind. Hats off for such valuable content ;)
This. Is. Fiiiiiire! Couple minutes in, already changed my life. ThankU again Pat👊🏼
I love your videos. You are one of the view salespeople that tackle issues at the core without selling a course.
I just want to thank you for this one. I am about to make my cold calls for the day and just this line alone has given me better insight. A lot of times I am in my head at work worried about having the answer and now I will focus on asking the right question. Thanks for your servant leadership!
I don't why but when this man strat to speaking something so powerful comes to me I become more motivated
What a timing Pat 😃 I have spent the last month educating myself about that specific subject. I own a graphic design agency and I want to not only improve the closing numbers but also to learn more about my clients. The final goal is to impress my clients, first by asking great questions (which makes them think that I really know what I’m doing) but also getting them great designs - BASED ON THEIR TRUE NEEDS, not only based on what they think they want but more of what they truly need but didn’t know yet.
THIS IS THE VIDEO I NEEDED BUT I DIDNT EVEN KNOW I NEEDED IT!!! LIKED BEFORE WATCHING, THANK YOU PATRICK!!!
GREAT VIDEO! In a lot of your interviews I saw you asked GREAT Questions and I wanted to know how you did it but this video did it for me!
Gold, every video i saw of yours is gold. Thank you Patrick.

I love the topic of this video. I personally have found asking questions to be a great problem solving tool in my life. Tony Robbins mentions this: a person with all the wrong answers is usually just asking the wrong questions.

Thank you

Looking good Pat! Thanks for a great start to my day. I'd love to show this to my high school students but they would complain you talk too fast lol
Patrick so funny I was just reading about this earlier today and boom you do a video on it
Patt! Which book you recommend to read for this "types of questions " topic.
Great video! You ever been on thumbtack? They do this pyramid of questions similar to what you demonstrated PBD. You then find the right vendor based on the questions they ask and the answers you give. It’s great for someone that is new in a field and can offer a good deal. I have seen this on many apps also.
Thanks Pat, nice low fade

The main thing about the Science of asking questions is simple : Ask the question and then shut up. Let your guest speak and don't interrupt them. Don't talk over your guest.

Great topic! All my life I search for the right answer. I am a former A+ student. I am looking forward to this video. Can I a smart man add the science to ask the right questions to his arsenal?
You don’t know if you don’t ask right 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Then I remember elementary, middle, and high school. It’s pretty interesting. I completely switched to getting right answer mode. I became number 1 of my class seven (7) years in a row. I became so great/obsessed at taking tests, anticipating questions, and providing with the right answer that I wouldn’t go to sleep until I was done. VERY INTERESTING. Why did I do that?
When i was a kid all day i asked questions at night i asked more !

Super curious: have you considered providing assignments for people to take action on to not only assure they comprehend the material, but understand how to APPLY the material? I figured this would be a great time to ask the question.

I think even assignments people will skip and for $500 is not worth his time to try and keep up with if you did your homework. On the other hand i think the idea of him getting feedback and constantly updating the course by uploading new content like he said he would do is smart. I am not sure if students will have access to each other but once inside if you can one could partner up with another person and give each other goals and feedback

What are the papers that you told us?
One of Trumps secrets of success is knowing how to ask the right questions from all the right people.
I liked the video from the business point of view, but actually I was looking for "How to ask the right questions from the academics/studying point of view?". For instance, you are studying about the theory of evolution, then while reading textbooks and other sources, what are the right set of questions to ask myself while doing this exercise that would help me get a good grasp of the concepts and connect the information with the already jargon of information that I have. If anybody has any source or any link that would address my problem, please do share.

Loved the video. There is a great book about this topic called "A More Beautiful Question" by Warren Berger "The course is specifically tailored for three different types of people in sales: [1) Amature 2) $100k-$250k year income 3) sales managers/sales leaders]" So basically it is tailored to fit everyone in sales? Isn't one size fits all the opposite of tailoring?
