    Kari is INSANE for doing water torture while being restrained, I'm actually a little shocked that Adam was the one who was able to sit freely in his chair while Kari did the whole wooden board, chains, and helmet setup. Even more crazy that she wanted to KEEP DOING IT... Thank god the paramedics noticed her body language before she let herself get to a point of literal mental breaking. That woman deserves a medal of honor for going through what she does in this show

    In a bit of trivia, Adam's said they later got a nameless e-mail stating that the sender(s) had successfully induced a psychotic break with water torture after 20 hours by randomizing the drop pace to make it impossible to predict. Understandably he was very creeped out about it.

  • @rwandaforever6744
    @rwandaforever6744Ай бұрын

    While the Hollywood fly backs are pure fiction and physical laws are obeyed, the shooter might not experience the same backward motion than the one being shot. Usually, the shooter does not shoot with a stiff arm or shoulder. The handgun will flip the arm up, dissipating part or the energy. The shoulder will be shoved back by the recoil. Guns also can be designed to take some of the recoil, having shock-absorbing parts build in, using that power to cycle the bullets, blowing out gases via the muzzle break, etc. To get a (more or less) full transfer of power, the target has to be unable to dissipate that power. You would need a ballistic vest with padding and hard layers to get as much force into the person. Too soft and it will go into the padding, too hard and it will just go into the exploding projectile. It seem like they did a poor job fastening the vest to Buster. There is a lot of space between the vest and Busters chest, thus a lot of power is lost and not transferred to Buster. It would have been fun to see them step it up. A .50cal has a lot of power when stopped by a vest. Or bigger, heavier bullets. Elephant guns with a brass solid, or even a 4bore. But all that transfer would not happen when it is used on an unprotected person. As seen in the first experiments, it would "just" penetrate or even go through. You will not be thrown back, you will just die standing there, crumpling, bleeding out, not able to breath. For all the fun you can have with guns when used safely, they are still weapons meant to kill other humans.

    Vegetarians are different from vegans. Vegetarians usually are just averse from the meat of the animal, they generally still eat eggs and dairy and by extension still use other non food animal products. Vegans on the other hand are completely repulsed from the consumption of any animal products. In short: Vegetarian is a dietary choice while vegan is a lifestyle.

    @@harlequinems seeing how she reacts to raw meat, it might be things like texture issues or historical cause (both can cause physical nausea). Even outside that as most of the leather produced comes from animals slaughtered for meat or those that got too old for milking there are a lot of vegetarians that rationalise it as a byproduct thing. Even within eating meat there are some people who consider themselves vegetarians however will try dishes that have meat in them, just don't purchase it for their own consumption or go out of their way for it when they have other options (trying a friends' meal at a restaurant, or taste testing cooking in the role of a chef)

    Oh man, you get soo many things wrong!! First. Kari it´s not an actress. She is a builder and a model maker. We are in season two, and if you have a look to the videos of season one you can find her pulling a rope o wielding a brush in the background. Second, she was not a celebrity at this point (that would change in former seasons), she was a nobody in her first contract, so most probably she was paid peanuts.

    even having arms restrained above your head can have that effect on people. Not to mention that being unable to move for prolonged periods of time can be very bad for health. strangest things can cause panic in individuals and many fears are illogical. She clearly had a panic attack. Doesn't make anyone a drama queen.
