The randle disrespect is crazy. 2x all NBA well on his way to 3x this year before the heat took him out, and after the Knicks got OG they looked like legit the best team in the entire NBA with Brunson, Randle and OG together, winning like 12 in a row, most of them by 20+ including beating a full strength Nuggets team by more than 35

Uhhhhhh. First, Brunson was listed as an all-star this year (not starting, which was absolute bullshit). Two, I wouldn't say he carries Randle. Is he better than Randle and the true leader? Of course. But Randle is a perfect complementary piece to Brunson; they play very well together. Randle is dogged on for two poor playoff showings, which, let's be real. He was set up to fail in both. In the first one, he was the only offensive option, so as long as teams shut him down, the Knicks couldn't do anything. In the second one, he was playing on a busted ankle, he had to get surgery right after and he still had a couple good games before it was reaggravated

Great video but you lost me at the part where he was carrying Randle. Julius was putting up 29 pts 9+ rb and 5 assist and well on his way to another all star and all nba selection. The Knicks would be legit championship contenders if he stayed healthy alongside JB and OG. This team was looking real scary with all 3

Jalen is what us Knicks fans have wanted for a long time- a gamechanger, superstar at point. Dallas sleeping on him and the Knicks making smart moves allowed for this to happen. I don’t know how Jalen’s time with the Knicks is going to end but I’ll never forget how he revitalized this franchise. Once a Knick, always a Knick.

At 1:49 you say "Brunson has yet to make his first All-Star appearance." But Brunson is a 2024 NBA All-Star. I also can't roll with the Iverson comparison. Iverson was a low efficiency ball hog and often choked in the playoff clutch. He usually shot 40% or less during playoff runs. Brunson is high FG % regular and post season and is a menace in the clutch, disciplined and precise. Maybe prime Iverson does better in this less physical NBA of the present, but I think Brunson is superior in either era. I can't really match him to any specific PG. He is very unique. I'd say he has the strength of Marbury, when driving the ball and absorbing contact while still finishing, he has great floor generalship - similar to Chauncy Billups or Andre Miller, he has great clutch and big shot-making shooting ability, even under pressure, similar to Kyrie Irving. But unlike Irving, Brunson isn't a miracle shot guy, overall. He's very, very smart and disciplined. He just makes the right decisions.
