Babe Ruth was garbage as a two-way player. He only played in 164 games in his entire career as a two-way player. During that time, he only hit 24 homeruns as a two-way player. Ohtani can do all in one season and hit twice more homeruns than garbage two-way player Babe Ruth.

As a baseball fan, I appreciate the passion and enthusiasm for Shohei Ohtani's incredible achievements, but I think it's essential to recognize Babe Ruth's impact on the game as well. Ruth was a pioneer who redefined baseball, paving the way for future generations. His 164 games as a two-way player were just a fraction of his career, yet he still managed to hit 24 home runs during that period. Ruth's overall contribution to baseball is monumental, and comparing players from different eras is always tricky due to the many changes in the game. Instead of diminishing Ruth's legacy, let's celebrate both players for their unique and historical contributions to baseball. What are your thoughts on how Ohtani's success has been influenced by the trailblazers who came before him?

@@foulball i never said Babe Ruth was garbage as a one-way player. He was exceptional. However as a two-way player, his stats were mediocre, nothing special. Compare Ohtani's stats to Ruth's as two-way player, Ohtani would be God. However, when Ruth gave up pitching, he was an exceptional hitter which I highly respect.
