Not really. For me, that's always been a case of actual game code files being corrupted, and not save data, and everything is saved fine and works fine after a reinstall.

I would be terrified. I hate when random things make a noise unexpectedly, even if I know it’s going to make the noise.

I know this isn’t an error message, but the scariest screen for me is when you’re deleting game software and that text shows up saying something along the lines of: “Are you sure you want to delete this software? This action can’t be undone.” The thing that really puts a chill down my spine is the sound effect that plays as that red “Delete” button shows up.

I recently got the temperature error, I was chilling on my bed playing on my switch and fell asleep while playing(handheld plugged in) and while sleeping I rose my blanket and covered my switch, causing it to over heat, then I woke up from it, realized it, and quickly turned it off, luckily my room was cold and went back to normal temperature pretty fast. This also caused my sleep schedule to be ruined

Disc cannot be read is terrifying. It could mean your wii broke or the disc. The third option you put the disc in wrong.

@Lavakaz: the cloud back-up error appears if you do on purpose to deleted your save file within the game, because you want to restart your game from the begining, for example in Superliminal I deleted the achivement so I can go collected the blue print, chest piece, the object in the star room, fire alarm and fire extinguisher, deleting achievement does not deleted challenge mode, so the only way to deleted chanlenge mode already done is to deleted from the setting and then since it deleted the hole thing I would have to do the speed run first to unlock the soda bar restaurant in the last puzzle or else you can't complete the chest peace achievement on your first play through from a deleted file, you can collect most of them except the one in. In the devloper commentary section you will only have devloper commentary for chest peace, and blue print if you left one unfinish each, the star room object that makes an object you can finish that before the devlopper commentary, because he talk about it when you first enter a star room you do not have to make the object, he will only say it once, unless you leave the game and come back then he will repeat what he said about the star room when you found another one.

The first error isn’t scary but frustrating. This always happens whenever I play Asphalt 9 on the switch. Imagine being in a multiplayer race and you are winning but the game crashes.

The software closed thing only happens after I MANUALLY CLOSE THE SOFTWARE BECAUSE THE FAME FROZE lol

For the last error, it can also happen when you need to clean the screen. Cleaning my screen works every time for me.

It always happens to me when I put a cartridge in, it's not even scary anymore (if it ever was). Just have to blow on the cartridge and put it in my switch multiple times until it finally gets to work.

I've had that console crash error. Scared me to death. We were in our living room when the screen on our TV went blank. We were playing Minecraft, which at the time for the switch was sooo buggy. I took it out of the duck and this very error was there. Keep in mind it was a sleepover and we were up past the time we should have been, so we went to sleep with the lights on. Very terrifying. 😀

The first one is literally as simple as just the game crashing. There's nothing wrong, usually, and it doesn't require a whole entire redownload for the game you were playing.

You forgot about a switch blue screening which happened to me when i had bought a off brand charger for game stop which they gave me a new switch for breaking mine entirely

I remember when I got a "blue screen" and I couldn't do NOTHING, had to get a new switch :(

The console overheaten could also be when ur sd card is full with mods games that the console cant handle so many storage (there were so many unneeded detail like this)

The scariest thing from the Nintendo switch is when you’re trying to delete your account. The screen turns dark and ask “Are you sure you want to delete this account”. Then it asks again if you’re sure and this creepy noise plays with a red “delete” button. Freaks me out every time 🥶😟

Nintendo Ring Fit "You are having an heart attack" warning ☠️

The 3rd party one is the scariest in my opinion... happened to me about 2 years ago playing sword

To be scary It doesn't need to jump-start you, getting that screen gives ya some spooky vibes.

NO NO the game closing error is terrifying as a Pokémon player seeing a shiny in the new games closes on its own frequently and seeing a shiny then it closing is terrifying

The worst one was probably when there was no wifi and that one sound when it pops up just scared me

It happened to me a couple of times about 2 years ago, the screen went completely orange and I had to restart the console

i had that too but 2 times a day

I was expecting joycon drift to be the most scariest

And if you have a modded switch: Now introducing 500 new scarier errors!

One time I got a error saying “would you like to let the developer of this game see your save data to help improve the game” and I was really confused and scared I just chose don’t allow

I actually got like the third one looking somewhat recently, I don't remember the error code, but it was hopefully nothing bad, I believe it was just the system having a hiccup.

😔The last one happened to me. My mum went to 5 different gaming stores and it couldn't be fixed... I now have a new switch but I lost LOADS of data! 😅

I've had "the software closed because of an error", but it ACTUALLY scared me (although I should've expected it because of the game i was playing). I was playing "Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle", known for its glitching graphics after the spooky trails half way boss. I had gotten to the fight right before beep-0 notified about the hole (or whatever it is in the sky), and I saw an enemy walk on thin air, not go into the pipe. Soon after beep-0s dialogue, I saw the graphical stuff glitching out and it freaked me out, since I never KNEW that would happen. I walked around, and soon after, I got the message. I looked at the save data, and it just said "Error accured".

The last one happened to me 3 times when i tried to get the pictures to my phone

3rd one Just made me fall my Heart

Keep this vocal range please. Not sure how old this short is, but its ... calming ... soothing. Your not yelling at me. Thats preferred

I love the "The software was closed because an error occurred" error because its a classic one and its the coolest, am i right?

Bro the console being hot error was an error I had to deal with for about a year due to the fan being faulty in the older switches

I always thought “A communication error has occurred” was scary. Probably depends if you’re by yourself or with your parents.

“Game closed because an error occurred” The scariest for me because… …I didn’t save….

A few years ago, my Switch developed a problem where the "The software closed because an error occurred" error would just show up randomly when playing a game. For some games, it happened really easily, while it didn't seem to happen at all for others. I had to send my Switch in to get it fixed. Just a few days ago, I was playing Splatoon 3, and my system crashed three times. Once, it showed the "An error has occurred" error, while the system just froze the other two. After trying a bunch of things, I accidentally reinstalled the update data to the system memory, and it seems to be fine now.

The worst is when you get banned from going online. Something like "this console cannot connect to the servers" or something. My heart dropped

the use of online services on this console is currently restricted by nintendo. Thankfully, this error usually only happens to modified consoles and pirates

If you are talking about the heart attack warning, that’s most likely fake, although definitely a scary error

The “yadda yadda yadda” always gets me every time 😂😂

“The game card could not be read” 500/10 You never expect it, it’s scary bc the game may be broken.

It always happens to me, so it's like a 0/10. And my cartridge is never broken when the error shows.

You forgot one, if you use a random charger and not the original one to use the dock a weird error pops up

I have never took out the switch from the dock, that error would never come with mine, I only have to charge the controller.

One you forgot to mention is something that happened to me where your screen randomly turns all orange and no matter what you press it just stays the same. I think to fix it you have to hold the power button down for a few seconds

Tried my true best to get my switch to overheat to see the "overheating" message (removed thermal paste, disconnected fan) I'll do this again if I feel like it.

anti piracy screens are the scariest

I got the 3rd error on my nintendo switch while it was in sleep mode and I didn't realize it until the next day, it is working fine now but it was scary when I got it

I had the errors #01 and #03. For the #03 error, I thought something was seriously wrong with my Nintendo Switch™.
