The scammer who betrayed his boss

Very occasionally, scammers get fed up with what they do and will betray their bosses. I teamed up with Ben of the Pleasant Green KZread channel to expose the bosses of these scam call centres.
You'll see how they train their staff and a couple of ways that they launder money.

I think the issue is that some people are in debt or don't have the money that physically robbing people or threatening someones life face to face isn't what they want so they resort to working for scam centers. It's very sad but that's the way I see scammers. That's why "Kabir" came to ben from pleasant green because he doesn't want in that life I think.

What if the scammers download a keylogger onto the person's computer and has the person log into their bank account? If those people don't have two factor authentication, then what's stopping the scammers from actually accessing the bank accounts themselves later on? VPN's are a thing, so they can make it appear like they are in the same city the victims are in. Sure, the victim can later talk to the bank about their money being gone, but by that time the scammers could have already laundered it away by using various services like Paxful. When the scammers obtain access to the computers they have essentially free reign on the person's machine, they can do pretty much whatever to it. With these victims generally being elderly, then they're probably unaware of the dangers and what types of things can be done to their computers.

The man who was in the process of being scammed said it quite a bit that if he didn't proceed with what they were asking, they would ruin him financially. the reason they call the scammers in the first place is that they expect support. they get a strange email talking about money and so they expect these people to be some sort of support so yeah I don't blame them, especially as I'm sure 99% of those who are scammed are old and barely know anything about the internet.

@@christianponce4836 Most definitely not. It would ruin his credibility to start off with a lie. However, it wouldn't be a problem if he has a job somewhere to present himself as someone from that company. For instance, let's say that Jim has a weekend job collecting mail at Google, he could say Hi, I'm Jim, from Google. But I don't think it matters much because it's just much easier to convince someone of a lie than to convince them they're being lied to. Using the same tactics is only serving to prime the victim to be convinced by charisma instead of factual information. That's not helping but damaging. I know that society as a whole leans towards trusting convincing voices rather than facts because it's just easier to rely on feeling than it is to rely on thinking critically, but that's something we need to change, not something we need to encourage by perpetuating it. I think that Jim is one of the better examples of how to approach a victim in an encouraging and understanding manner while also providing useful information that helps arm people against the next scam. In the end, if people let Jim explain, they don't have to trust him at all because Jim explained what happened and how they can check it and that they should contact their own bank about it.
