Trevor, I waited until this last episode to comment. This was, by far, one of the most epic things I've ever watched. You are an amazing storyteller. Thank you for doing this. I'm a fan for life.
Four years after this season was finished I enjoyed it way more than many Netflix shows. 😂 Thanks for the passion and effort placed into this. I'm truly moved by this finale.
What a wonderful ending to the season! Boy oh boy was this episode a home run! Thanks again for all your hard work. On a more personal note - giving me a shout out was possibly the most exciting moment of my life and it made me feel that in some small way, I was helping shape the direction of flow of the story. So when you comically asked " Are you happy now Randolfo?" I have to say, no. I'm not happy. I'm over the moon. The only problem I"m having is explaining the importance of this momentous occasion to my friends and family who just don't get it. Later that evening I found myself imagining Arn walking north toward the mountains which separate the northlands from the southlands. He's forced to limp due to that injury which will never heal right. Stumbling, he curses in pain and frustration. He doesn't know how or why but the words that come to his mouth are; "Bleep you Randolfo!" And I smile. Enjoy a well earned rest my friend and see you in season 2!

LOL!!! Well played, sir, well played!
This has been an incredible journey! I'm glad you decided to end the story of Simon instead of dragging it on and on - the story has come to a natural and beautiful conclusion. Excited to see season 2 with Arne!
I casually enjoyed this show up until episode 16 or so. From that episode onwards, I was so emotionally invested I binged through the rest of the episodes with ease. I applaud you mr. Devall! Your impecible voice acting adds SO MUCH to the story. It made me cry for simon's father's death and I cannot wait until season 2, but I respect you taking some self care time ;)
Huzzah! We went from #SimonSucks to a 100% exoneration. Trevor, you have more than earned a few weeks off! Well done, sir. I love SW but didn’t think it would work as a solo game. You not only proved it could be done, but that it could be done with style. Ironsworn is a great game, and I look forward to MM&D Season 2. However, the Ironlands are brutal, so I expect #ArneSucks to trend.
When you said "Iron Lands", my heart screamed! This was an incredible journey. Following Simon in his journey was a blast. Congratulations on an amazing first season. I can't wait for the next one and to see you play Ironsworn! Your show was a lifesaver for me, showing me playing solo is doable, okay and fun! I have an adventure of my own with Ironsworn and I'm loving the system. May I suggest Mythic Variations I and II for the next season? They really are an upgrade on Mythic GME. Anyway, enjoy your rest 😊
Trevor... this was not only an amazing episode but you are a fantastic actor and storyteller. This season was epic and - for sure - is on the same level as other fantasy works that are so popular right now. I am sooo much looking forward to the adventures of Arne.
You know that sad feeling you get when you've finished a book you've really enjoyed? Well, I'm not just sad, I'm devasted that this series is over as it was compelling viewing as I couldn't wait to find out how it was going to work out. Apart from the brilliant voice acting, what imagination, creavity and enthusiasm you have! After many years of playing D&D, it has inspired me to try solo rpg (and using Savage Worlds) and I'm totally hooked. Many thanks Trevor!
OH MY GOOOOOD!! What a finale! I honestly never expected a trial to be this entertaining and this loaded with emotion! I also find it fantastic that you were transparent enough to include GM Randolfo's comment! I just watched the supplemental 6 video and it's amazing how a detail like that gets carried through!
This series has not only reignited my excitement for DMing, but also introduced me to so many resources to take off the weight of a lot of the more boring world building and details some people want to know I didn’t think to create. Incredible series, and I’m excited to watch the rest of them next
I will be wholeheartedly recommending this series to anyone interested in RPGs going forward. Your showmanship was wonderful, pacing was tight, and most of all your experience with tabletop gaming came through in the best way. Looking forward to season two and wishing you much success :)
The Ironlands?! I thought you were talking about Ironsworn! I'm so stoked!
This finale really shows how everything that has happened in the ever evolving story threads actually matters. Things may have been decided on the fly but the world is cohesive and tied together beautifully by your creativity and compelling characters. Solo rpging is a quirky niche but I hope every nerd out there gets a chance to see how fun it can be through the wonderful example of your videos.
As everyone else has said bloody well done Trevor! A fantastic narrative, excellent use of the game system and sublime technical delivery. Me, Myself and Die! has been the only weekly show (TV, Netflix or KZread) I've kept up with watching every week as each new episode drops. I'm really looking forward to Season Two :)

Inspiring journey doing something I have never seen before in youtube. You should be proud, Trevor. We truly are.
finished all 22 episodes..... Brilliant :-)))))
simon, edberg and arne has a place in my heart. what a wonderful stories! thanks a lot, Trevor.
The fact that you went back to a 3 years old just to update the thumbnails really shows how much care you put into these videos. Haha. I noticed because I'm rewatching the first season. You also just reached 18k subs. Totally deserved it. Good job Trevor! Keep it up!
You're under no obligation to correct an honest mistake. Poor Arn...
Wonderful end to the campaign! Sorta wish it was Egdbert's campaign next though (That Cherilynn thread is still dangling!) But I'm also excited to see what Arn will be doing, and to see how the maps looks as it fills out to the North. And a new system! Fun!

Just an unfinished side quest
Trever, I must say... I happen to be a part of the CR critter family and have been with the show since Season 1 ep 10 way back and it's really hard for anything to come close to how it makes me feel; until I found your show. Plus, you are friends of Matt too!?!?!? I stand from my chair here in my room... Applause, Encore, and the many roses that get thrown onto the stage for you. Wow Wow WOW. I know I have a lot more to watch and I certainly hope you continue with this GOLD MINE! Hugs and Thank YOU!
Thank you! I know the process takes a lot of work, especially for the first go around, and you pulled it off wonderfully, congratulations! Can’t wait to see what you do next with Ironsworn or anything else you bring to the table!
An absolutely fantastic finish to a great story arc! Can’t wait to see what lies ahead for Arne!
WOW! What a journey this has been! This feels like an excellent season one wrap up, still just enough threads dangling to continue following along. Arn is going to be fun fun fun to continue on with. Gosh the trial was amazing too, had me holding my breath!
I am late to the party but loved the campaign. Listened to it all over 3 days.

What a great story and a great conclusion. I was honestly expecting Edbert's ghost to come back before the end but In a way I'm glad it didn't. Thank you for making this series, I have nothing but respect for all the hard work and passion you've poured into this channel.
I now that I'm not a regular commentor, but I must confess that I've watched from episode 6 to here in a matter of days. With this being the end of the first season, I must say that this entire show was AMAZING. Please keep up the good editing job, voice acting, and world building next season. My birthday is soon and I am getting some of your merchandise FOR SURE.
Our guy did it! He’s free. Simon you don’t suck :) I was so happy for Simon and his friends as they both worked hard to clear his name. I have to say that I’m thrilled season 2 will be a thing, (I know people might be asking for it but there’s no pressure, we’re aware of how long it takes to produce this show with all the editing and filming) I hope you still enjoy doing the episodes as much as we enjoy watching them. Also I can’t lie I’m far from ready to say good bye to Simon, his good heart won me over from the start, but also my favorite character, Edbert! I hope he’s not gone forever because I still want to know his backstory, and also why he ended up being in the tavern when Simon and he first met, just doesn’t seem like the type of guy to be going out drinking on his own, haha. It was bittersweet at the end as Arn packed his stuff, I found it quite funny that Edbert was too deep in his slumber and didn’t even get to say goodbye to Arn hah. Lastly just thank you, thanks for bringing us on this journey. Here’s to another adventure.
What a great ending. I have to agree with everything others have said about how Simon's character arc changed so dramatically over the course of the season. He went from zero to hero, from a hopeless bungler who couldn't seem to do anything right, to a fearless tracker, warrior, and detective. We went from "Simon Sucks" to "Simon Rocks!" But what really got me was the final image of Arne striding off into the distance about to begin his own adventure. I'm a little verklempt again. I'll definitely be here for Season 2.
just finished this years later after you started! I can't imagine how much work this was, thank you so much!
I know I'm late to the party, but over the last week and a half I've watched the entire first season (and then some!), and this is without a doubt one of the best things I've ever watched anywhere. Your storytelling and improv is fantastic and had me on the edge of my seat so many times! This series helped me learn Savage Worlds' rules better than I did before, and Mythic GME (which is actually how I found the channel). As well, I feel so much more inspired to create and run future TTRPG games with more voices, acting and improv. So thanks, Trevor! Now I'm off to catch up with Arne's adventures.
Two and a half years later: season 1 of MM&D has aged incredibly well. Looking forward to re-visiting again in 2025.
Thanks for the great work you have done, my friend. Now rest with no worries, as it is our turn to keep Simon alive in our songs. A lone, forsaken, grieving man he was Only misfortune and death rode with him For Simon was chased for an empty cause That turned his future, his fate, dark and grim Believed a brute killer by all in town Brother to creatures so hunted and feared Orphan by mystery, what a painful crown He set off, eager to have his name cleared Zyr-Ator, the daemon, Cherilynn the ghost He fought hard and bravely against many dark foes A story lived and told by a man, a host Who became hundreds and thousands, because: He who rolls alone can carry great loads But he who rolls in company explodes

That’s really good my friend :)
I've just binge watched Season 1 so I can follow Season 2 as it unfolds. Congratulations on a great piece of work. I'm playing solo rpgs with Mythic regularly thanks to this show.
What a way to announce the next game. Unfulfilles vows and the Ironlands. This was a great adventure, thanks for sharing it with us.
Trevor...my dude...I have burned through all 22 campaign episodes plus the supplementals in 2 weekends...thanks so much for making this! I have thoroughly enjoyed Simon’s Quest (heh) and look forward to seeing Arne’s adventures in the Ironlands! P.s. My group and I love Ironsworn. We just wrapped up session 3 of a 4-player cooperative game yesterday morning, and it’s addictive! I really think Shawn has captured all of the magic of Mythic/PbtA/Fate/etc., and crammed it all into one game! P.p.s. I forgot to mention earlier, but I would gladly wait a year or longer to see Arne’s Ironland Adventures! I don’t know where you get such energy from, but I can only imagine the weeks’ worth of work that it would take for me to make a single episode that merely came close to the quality of each episode here. You have done an amazing job, and as much as we’re all clamoring to see Season 2 drop, don’t forget to take some time for yourself...you’re a natural entertainer, but those of us who are MM&D fans know that running solo (much less a solo production) takes a lot of time and dedication! Take care, and we’ll see you when we see you!
OH MY GAAAAWD....I had to cry when you said "HERO" (=
Coming late to this adventure, it was awesome. An old role player and DM myself, you my friend are top notch. Loved this story watched all the episodes of season one all weekend.
Thank you for reignite love for RPG that I think was losted. Thank you to show me the fun and joy of a RPG solo, and show me the Savage worlds. What a system! Wait for the next adventure
Awesome series! Binge watched the whole thing in a week. This is exactly what the Solo RPG community needed, a brilliant example of how to run a campaign successfully using Mythic. I can't wait for season 2 and Ironsworn. Thank you Trevor.
Fantastic ending. Sad to see Simon's story end, but excited for the next chapter...
It was a amazing end and also touching too... Congratulations for Simon and his adventures
You know what the world needs in these crisis-driven times? Me, Myself and Die! season 2.
WHAT. A. GREAT. CONCLUSION! I loved the trial, really had a chance to bring so many elements from the adventure together (and for what it's worth, I wouldn't call it meta gaming to raise their Persuasion-that skill had been getting a lot of practice in recent episodes!) Of course it's funny that as soon as I catch up it's time for a break, but you have WELL earned a rest! I know videos of this quality take an insane amount of work, but you should be immensely proud of what you created here. Everything from the presentation, to the storytelling, the captivating characters, engaging encounters... I think doing this solo would have to be even harder than just being a GM, and to do it for the cameras takes a ton. Take as LONG as you'd like, my friend-hang up that crossbow and give those creative juices a chance to replenish. The MOMENT Arne's adventure begins, I will be first in line!
What an amazing campaign Mr. Devall. It's very enjoyable to watch!
Awesomely done sir! To the Ironlands!! Edit: Don't forget about "Delve" being released by Mr. Tomkin very soon!
Totally not metagaming to give them Persuasion. They used it A LOT. Emotional rollercoaster! Fabulous, and WOW! What an Epilogue! Bravo! Standing ovation!
Words cannot express how much I have enjoyed the adventures of Simon and Co. it has been a fantastic journey and one I hope will resume some day. As for the Iron Lands; I cannot wait!! Thank you for a fantastic channel.
Bravo! Encore! Curtain call!!! That was fantastic and a wonderful ending to the story. I actually enjoy 'retiring' Simon and moving forward with another character, that makes Simon's arc so much more meaningful. Thank you. Gripping and fun storytelling.
I started on season 2 but came back to watch this. Just amazing storytelling, it's literally become my favourite thing. Great job!
I hate endings, my heart doesn't take them very well... Still, I want to thank You, Trevor, for amazing story that you've created for us. I really appreciate an effort you put into these episodes. I hope you will find motivation for making more seasons, because those that we had at the moment are a blast to watch! As for the story: I must say, all threads for Simon were closed and it is only my affection for his character that doesn't want to let him go. I'm really afraid about Edbert ghost returning, and concerned how Arne will thrive in Iron Lands with his lame leg... So one more time, thank You again for creating this awesome adventure, these characters that we fell in love with. Please, keep your work here up, we will certainly be waiting ;) (Sorry for my English, not a native speaker)
It feels so strange that it is you thanking us, we owe you so much joy and me personally also the fantastic discovery of solo play.
Pretty late to the party on this one, but I just wanted to tell you that I absolutely loved this series! My wife and I listened to it on some long car rides and she was so much more into it than I expected :). "Its a lot like listening to a story that even the narrator doesn't know where its going!" she explained. Lol, that pretty much sums it up. We had a blast and feel the tension every time you roll the dice for a big scene. You do such a great job and its crazy now listening to you talk about having 1000 subscribers. You do such a great job with the story telling and the rest of the channel is great too. Onto season TWO for me!
I watched season 2 first, since I first heard about this series via the Ironsworn discord. I loved Arne's tale in the Ironlands, and decided to check out season 1 and see where it started. I've loved Simon's story just as much. It also got me looking at the Savage Worlds system again, which I'm using to run a game right now. I'm looking forward to whatever you end up doing for season 3! Keep up the amazing work!
A terrific ending to a wonderful tale. Well done, and well played. Looking forward to the continuing adventures!
Love the adventure! Now I can't read a novel without hearing it in Trevor's voice!
Season one just kept getting better! Congrats on finishing Season One and coming to an amazing conclusion! I look forward to seeing Arne return home to the Ironlands! Enjoy your time off!
Man, what a story arc! From a ragged ranger with terrible luck to hero of his own homeland. The ending brought tears to my weary eyes. This is what real storytelling feels like. And I must say the voice acting skills and plot development of Trevor is such an inspiration for little guys like me. I'm really happy that I found this channel. Also, kudos for the Mythic GM emulator. Such a nice little tool, eh?
I’m very late to the party here, but I have to say this season was incredible and I can’t wait to continue into the next. Very well done!!!
That was an amazing ending for the season ! Can't wait to find out what happens next! You're an awesome storyteller, Trevor!
Finally finished season 1 (after watching season 2, and following the ongoing season 3) - what an extraordinary adventure, amazing work, thank you so much! Your excitement, and the passion you put into this, were one of my main motivations to tried out Solo-RPG'ing - and I love it. As the go to GM of my group, I do not often have the chance to play all Charakters I have made over the time for fun, but Solo Roleplaying gives me the freedom to do that. Also I can try out all those games I only have read, as well as use my Solo-RPG-Sessions as an inspiration for my regular groups adventures.
This has been One of the greatest experiences in my Life. Truly a masterpiece of Media and entertainment. I wish only that I could play at a Table with you. You are Bloody brilliant
OK, I can not lie....I loved every single moment of all the videos following Simon and pals, But this episode truly moved me I indeed teared up at the end of this for many reasons. I can't thank you enough for this emotional journey And I can't wait to follow Arn on his adventures.

I'm late to the party but better late than never! I'm commenting on KZread for the first time in 5 years.... just to let you know how much I appreciate the existence of this channel. So glad I found your show, it legitimately became a new obsession of mine. After watching the previous episode I got too nervous to see the conclusion that I couldn't bring myself to click the play button for a whole week. But here I am finally, and boy was it a fitting grand finale! When it became clear that Simon will survive the trial I had a big sigh of relief. It's incredible how attached we get to the characters in your game. I laughed and cried along the journey, never knew TTRPG sessions could be so emotional. You really breathed life into all the characters and the world they inhabit! I don't know how you do it. I'm just getting started with TTRPG and decided to play my first game solo, and the Mythic rolls often leave me stumped and unsure how to proceed. Your feats of imagination, bursting creativity, epic storytelling and phenomenal acting have been nothing short of spectacular. Truly a privilege to witness. So thank you so much Trevor, for sharing such a masterpiece! Onto Season 2! :D
I just watched all the episodes during last days, instead of watching Netflix. Amazing. What a season! Will Netflix try to produce "Simon of Argoston"? ;) I love the different scenes you brought to life, from forest, to temples, horror/ghosts, battles, investigations, trials... "Hero"... That moving moment! Playing solo can also be incredible, as you just showed us with this great season. I'm looking forward watching the Ironsworn setup in your hands. I just can't wait. Congratulations, Trevor. And thanks.
This has been an amazing story. 22 episodes of quality entertainment, hardly found nowadays. I really enjoy the story, the characters, and all the game mechanics that were introduced during this series. Not only you create an incredible story, but also it was the best introduction and tutorial for Savage Worlds and Mythic GME. Can't wait for season 2 and follow Arne's adventures in the north, and hopefully in the future more adventures from Simon's Party.
Wow! What an ending...from 0 #simonsucks to HERO! This was a fantastic season, and thank you for taking the time to share this adventure with us!
This was so amazing!!! I definitely understand the burnout, you obviously put SOOO much work into it, but I really hope you come back when you're ready. Your work is so incredible and wholesome. (I wanted to buy some of your merch in support but I couldn't figure out how to get it sent down to Argentina!) If you set up a Patreon or something you would have a devoted supporter right here!
What an incredible season. Captivated me from start to finish. Can’t wait to jump into season 2. Simon does definitely not suck!
Okay, so how do I start a Tevor Fan Club? Great stuff, sir. You are man of wonderful talent. Thank you for sharing it with us!
Bravo Trevor! What a brilliant first season! As I've stated before, this is my favorite channel on KZread and I really looked forward to and enjoyed every episode, you did such an amazing job with the story using the Mythic GME and the Savage Worlds system. Enjoy your break, and really looking forward to season 2 and Arns continued adventures using the Ironsworn rules (which I am playing co-op with my girlfriend at the moment and both of us having a blast). In the end, I really think Simon didn't suck that much!
Just finished this season as a “flashback” (I started with S2.) Really fantastic production! On to binge watch S3!
This show fulfills, like nothing I’ve ever seen, the promise of RPG-as-performing-art. There are plenty of really excellent gaming streams out there, but nothing quite so focused on entertaining the audience with a compellingly acted and totally improvised story. The combination of Trevor’s acting chops, quick-thinking GMing skills, and frenetic energy and tight editing make this a very entertaining watch indeed. Bravo!
Congratulations Trevor on a very satisfactory conclusion to the first story arc. I have enjoyed every minute of it. I'm not familiar with Ironsworn but I've no doubt you will continue to entertain us all with your excellent shows. I understand how necessary it is for you to have a good break but I hope it won't be too long before you're back with us (2 weeks was bad enough!).
Wow, fantastic episode and conclusion to Simon’s story. Also great to see the a great example of the social conflict rules of Savage Worlds in action!
I absolutely love this! I'm so glad Critical Roll was subscribed to this channel so that I could find it. Please do another season! I'm so in love with everything about this. I actually started writing a book, much how you're playing. We'll see what story the dice tell with my apathetic, halfling cleric outsider! Thank you for the inspiration!
I’m speechless. Amazing job! This is the solo rpg show standard!
Absolutely incredible. I'm so happy that Manfred turned out to be a good dude, and I enjoy the mystery of not closing the thread of Edbert's haunting. Thank you for inspiring my own solo play adventures, Trevor. Onward to Season 2!
What an amazing series! Thank you for such high drama and emotional content. The scene with Simon's confused father was particularly poignant. Looking forward to series 2!!
Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed this story. Thank you for creating it.
Thank you so much Trevor for this amazing journey that has taken us quite far and deep into the lands around Keighton. The ending was phenomenal! May Eddberg and Simon rest for now, as Arne goes on his, surely, perilous journey. Can't wait for the second season. Truly, you are the Critical Role of Solo RPG Trevor. Huzzah!
I can't wait for season 2! Excellent storytelling and use of the game system!
I discovered this series a week or so ago and just watched the whole first season. I'm already thrilled to watch the next two seasons and this has inspired me to stream solo RPGs on my Twitch channel. Thank you, Trevor, for introducing me to this amazing approach to my longest-lasting hobby!
Superbe ! Thank you Trevor for these videos. Great demonstration of solo role-playing, great demonstration of outstanding GMing, great editing and amazing acting. From a personal perspective, I was looking for some videos that can combine my personal interest and practice English understanding. Because you are an voice actor that helped a lot for understanding. Your French accent was so realistic. Merci.
I am watching the trial now. Trevor, you are a mean GM. In a good way! Lol!
These last two episodes had me on the edge of my seat, every roll felt like it could be the last one for Simon and I loved AND… I’m ready to binge season 2
Bravo! Bravo! Well done sir. Thank you for doing this! Now, on to the second season!
After looking forward to this series every week until now, it will be absolutely wonderful to see it continue. Arne's story has me very excited! Lots of opportunity for an already very awesome character.
Finally got caught up! Wow... What a story and how exciting it was! I want you to know how much I appreciate this show you've put together: though you deal with adult themes you're not cursing every other sentence and that's honestly VERY welcoming. Your production is top notch. Your humor is refreshing and silly. Your storytelling is gripping and entertaining. And your personality in and of itself is genuine and fun; you come across like an old friend I'd love to have at the table. I'm going to share this channel in all my tabletop RPG groups on facebook! This beats Critical Role any day for me as this is actually accessible and digestible. If you keep making these episodes, I'll keep showing up. Best of luck during these times and I can't wait for the next season!
I, with no authority whatsoever, name you, Trevor Devall, a hero of solo RPGs. Thank you very much for this amazing season one and keeping me entertained in the last few weeks. I laughed many times, I cried a few times, I shouted in frustration at your terrible rolls more times than I could count because #SimonSucks. Bless him. Now excuse me, I need to go watch season two. I can't wait to find out what Arn's vow is. Hopefully, he will suck less than poor Simon.
A random KZread comment pointed me to this show as a way to see Savage Worlds in action, and I was not prepared to blaze through the *entire* season in a single week. It was a fun experience to go through, and this really helped me wrap my head around the system. Interested to see how the new system fares, I'll be starting season 2......probably in an hour or so actually. Cheers, and thanks for the help.
Just finished the series in time to start watching season 2. For having such a small community your production is insane. Nothing but respect to you man. You're awesome and much love for the next season
Thank you for weaving quite an inspiring tale. Inspiring enough for me to find the long lost Savage World book and try to play something I always wanted but never had the interested party. But thanks to your chanell Mr. Deval and your advices, the dream of pulp thrilling and two-fist action can become a dream adventure for solo playthrough.
Thank you so much for this! You've actually convinced me to start my own solo campaign in the Ironsworn universe, so I can't wait to see how season 2 unfolds. Keep up the good work.
Wow. Just wow. That was very emotion grabbing. I do hope that Simon meets Arn once more. I am going STRAIGHT to season 2!!! Funnily enough, someone on Steam recommended your channel, and I fell in love with it (and kinda want to try solo RPing myself now). Liked every video of season 1. Subbed. And damn it all, if I am not about to binge season 2!
Wonderful series! Thank you for your enthusiasm in sharing this story with us. I am certainly inspired. You have a great management of dramatic tension and suspense :)
An absolutely fantastic first season! So many things I love about this channel. The voice and acting talent. The improv and storytelling. The intellect and the heart that goes into every episode. And, most of all, the creative tools and oracles and every random dice roll, all of which fill me with a childlike and giddy joy. You are definitely a kindred spirit and I forward to going through the next season with you.
As the saying goes 'All good things must come to an end!' That was brilliant, you've made me thing more about law in my game, thank you for keeping me entertained and inspired and all the hard work you've put in, couldn't be easy with the set up, looking forward to ironsworn

Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you very much for this amazing show! Kalapunki sounds quite Finnish-like (kala means fish, for instance). So the North is surely the way to go for him.
