The Satchel | Marty Robbins Big Iron Follow-up | Award Winning Steam Locomotive Western Short Film

Фильм және анимация

Riding aboard a steam locomotive in the heart of the Wild West, a mysterious traveler enlists the help of a seasoned outlaw to retrieve his stolen satchel, which contains a deadly secret. BadassImage.com
After the success of our Marty Robbins-inspired Big Iron short film, our team decided to delve into the Western genre once more, expanding to a bigger, more complex, fully original Western tale. Witness the power and grandeur of a real Class 30 2-8-2 "Mikado" steam locomotive, the thundering hooves of real-life horses, and the raw authentic Western outback of Rusk, Texas - all achieved on an ultra-low budget.
Our cast and crew came together from Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Tennessee, and Texas to make this original story come to life.

I love shorts. This one is especially good. So much packed into a short time, mystery, action, drama, great characters, great acting, wonderful all round production. Felt like a feature movie because heart and soul bring more to a short production than a big budget splash that has no depth. Thanks.

Given this was a follow-up to Big Iron, my guess is this was a subtle nod to the wild aspect of films but also a nod to Fallout's trait called Wild Wasteland which is for those not aware funny stuff occurred. Aliens, movie references etc.

The kid reminds me of a young Brad Pitt. Looks like there is a lot of talent potential on display both on screen and behind the scenes. Good show, reminds of the old westerns I used to watch. Hope they don't start making these shows "more realistic" by including sexual content, cussing and other typical "Hollywood" propaganda and left-wing-nut communists liberal agenda garbage. Please keep up the good work you have done so far that I have seen.
