UPDATE: A new sample breakdown video of Face to Face is up. All samples included. I'm aware of the FRESH title mistake and the missing Kenny Loggins sample introduction (you get the idea, tho... it's included in the breakdown). I can't do nothing since YT disabled notes on videos :(

Hey undrtune, don't get Me wrong I love these types of videos and how that one channel that did this for 1 or 3 min and I hate how short they were tbh. 13 mins sounded a bit over top then let's say 12 mins but whatever, but frankly each song that's been sampled takes too long to show it, I like how smooth that other channel does it but it is kinda too quick. My advice or opinion is to try make 8 to 12 min videos but also make sure that they run smooth, not fast or slow or else You'll loose peoples interests and only show a couple times what each sample sounds like then 6 times, also when you do these it would be nice if pics of the artist or what the songs are about are put in the background moving slowly to the next image, they don't need to be complicated and distracting but would be a nice touch as well as for the death viewers, add some lyrics to all closed singing it so they don't feel miserable not knowing what they are singing as well as try high light when the singer says the words so they know how fast I hope this advice can improve and help You out in future videos doing albums of sampled songs or the whole artists songs until now, good job and keep it up but please read My advice or opinion and considerate, I can imagine redoing this video in a more better fun smooth way that shows actual visual samples and the play bar and etc

I don't know what's crazier, the fact that someone chopped all of these random sounding samples from songs to make something beautiful or the fact that someone was able to deconstruct it.

@@AngelMTZ8A While working on it, Face to Face wasn't that difficult tbh. Samples are easy to put in place after going through the original song once or twice. HIgh Fidelity, on the other hand, has so many microsamples that you are never really sure if you picked the right piece and placed it in the right time. I finished that one within 3 days or so. It was a pain in the neck. Sampling-wise, I think is the most complicated song from the album.

  • @maxouf1

Most easy: harder, better. 8 first measures of Cola Bottle song in a row, raw. EDIT: btw @undrtune you made an analysis mistake on this one in your video. Sample is not the first 4 measures but well the 8 first measures. There's a little difference at begining of 5th one compared to 1st one, and they do include it in the sample.

Someone has done his ''Homework''. You learned from the best ''Teachers''' right? Didnt you know this is going ''Around The World'' ? I will tell you ''One More Time'' that ''Revolution 909'' will also be found one day. That is.. if they ''Get Lucky''. And also.. dont forget that Daft Punk is ''Human After All''. When i first discovered their ''Musique'', i had a ''Instant Crush''. It had such a unique ''High Fidelity'' to it, that i had a ''High Life'' (without doing any drugs). It was quite the ''Discovery'' You will ''Lose Yourself To Dance'' They are creative with the samples. They are basically ''Superheroes''. There are still negative peeps in the world who bashed their ''Aerodynamic'' sound, But they have to get ''Da Funk'' out of my face. Yes, their tracks are ''Burnin'' the dance floors, they were far ahead in time with the ''Technologic''. I saw them live back in the day, without helmets ''Face To Face''. I saw them doing some ''Rollin and Scratchin''. It was in ''Phoenix''. All before ''Television Rules The Nation''. Yes my friends, i have beautifull ''Random Acces Memories''. That was truly awesome! ''Oh Yeah''. Next time around, it will be ''Harder, Better, Faster Stronger'' to find and hear the sample. But you have to admit, it still sounds ''Fresh''. Maybe we might see them again in the near future. I really hope so, i would feel so ''Alive''. MAYBE, they come up with a new album?? So that we can enjoy a new ''Digital Love''. I would put up my party glasses during the clubbing nights, but on the other hand... i have ''Night Vision''. Remember when they said ''Something About Us'' ? It was that the ''Music Sounds Better With You''. SO BE THERE !!!!! However.. i feel that my comment is ''Too Long'' so i take a ''Short Circuit''. Anyway, they are ''Doin It Right''. !!! PEACE TO ALL !!!! (D)ogs (A)ndroids (F)iremen (T)omatoes

This is really cool. Taking one second of various parts of the song, and creating something completly new. They even created new melodies (like one more time) that are good, which is really hard to do - you have to take random pieces of the original to create something new, it's like cutting a picture and creating new picture with some original and some new pieces - it's actually crazy! When you think about it, it's really not that diffrent than creating music without samples - let's say you're playing the piano, the notes are like samples!

I think this just goes to show you can't just d what they do. They would have grown u with those different vinyls, tweeking, flattening, reserving, experimenting with songs and artists lost to time. They have brought all that wonder 70s and 80s sounds and reinvented it into the future. Its absolutely amazing

@@mauricioalastuey6796 Well, not being original is something to discuss, creating something with a base is not that easy, if you see the complex of some songs you may see the originality of Daft Punk, because they not make a song just putting the original song there and let's release the album, they take their time to decide what part of the song take and then make a original beat, see aerodynamic, that song is just amazing, try to do a song with a base, and you will see that making a song like they is difficult and need to be original

I kid you not. I just woke up and for some reason got curious about the original songs sampled by daft punk. As I opened KZread up and was about to search for some video about the topic, I saw this one in the top 4 of my recommendations. One of the more creepy experiences of my life.

This is sooo cool, even tho this is a very controversial topic among the music industry, I think instead as viewing this as straight out lazy or uninspiring, I think this as a creative way to revamp something old. I don't find this as a bad thing in the end since credit is given/permission is asked to the original owner(s) of that piece of work. I simply find this as something creative and kinda of something as a tribute to that original piece of music. In the end this is something really fascinating and something that eventhough is controversial, should still be appreciated for bringing in something new, which daft punk has done.

12:24 I think that sample might be from the outro of the original album version of Sirius by The Alan Parsons Project, from the same album as the other 2 APP samples that were used. 12:27 I think the first snippet of that unknown sample is actually from the same "Can't Get It out of My Head" sample as before, but the next 2 snippets are still unknown.
