The Samples are more than a band - they represent a culture of fans and music that go beyond who happens to be playing in the band at any given time. There have been many members of The Samples, but Sean Kelly has been the consistent factor throughout all of the changes.

Brings back good memories... JESUS IS KING!
Wow, Sean and his band, The Samples look and sound great. I first saw and heard them one night in the Mid-90's at the old, original Decatur Street location of the Hard Rock Café in New Orleans with some good friends of mine. It was so cool to see them sing in front of that large movie screen behind them flashing clips of their song "My Town". BTW, the song "My Town" is still my favorite song from that magical night. I can still see them singing it on stage from that night. Long live The Samples!!!!
This
Wow, the band sounds great! miss seeing the samples live!
Always loved this song...even more when I heard it in my Safeway! LOL. It made my shopping so much better!!! No joke!
OMG!!! I am so psyched to see that they are still cranking! I was in college at CU Boulder from 1985 to 1990 and probably saw them 200 times! I doubt he remembers but Sean and I actually got on pretty well! Lot's of after-parties if you know what I mean....the booze and coke flowed freely in those days! What a treasure they are! I am going to see them 4/5 at the Ardmore. Are they physically here in PA now?
Been a fan since the 90's... why haven't they gotten more popular?! >.<
Amazing. Sean singing sounds fantastic and he looks happy. Don’t recognize the other musicians but the drummer is spot on with Jeep’s original playing.
I need to keep this version and the version I saw 13 months ago in my head because Friday night was brutal! I too saw them in early 90's and have followed for years....that will be my last show by this was the type of show I will remember!
Wow!! The best- Sean’s voice never disappoints!!
1 more thing...... An observation...... In their heyday in the 80's I think the fact that Sean sounds a bit like Sting hurt them commercially as people may have not taken them AS seriously as they should have. Like they were a Police cover band or something - (SO far from the truth - both GREAT bands) It is cool that it sounds as if Sean's voice is the one that has held up to the test of time! He sounds exactly like he did 40 years ago.........Holy SHIT! WHERE DID 40 YEARS GO!?!?
Sounds so much and the lyric stoics are so Sting and The Police --- so smooth, so reassuring tones and rhythm every tune.
❤
Saw you at Bimbo's 365 forever ago and Karl Dietel played a killer keyboard solo. Bought the CD of the show but was disappointed it didn't make it on there. Guess I'll have to see you live again soon - thanks for hitting the road again! Edit: it might have been in Portland or Eugene... those years are kinda fuzzy...
💥💯.Like Jack Black says ( regarding another band, (yet relatable none-the-less). “They’ve withstood the test. The test of time ( regardless of the line up). Sean’s talent continues. * This version of “ The Losing End of Distance” is spectacular 💯
Andy Sheldon and Jeep MacNichol were the heart of this band.
Sean still has the voice, no I’m sure better than ever.
Still water please🙏
"Weight of the World". Never played better.
Band sounds great - watch the show stage right ( on video Right) over the course of the night this gal CLEARLY drunk and on a mission, just keeps going at this black haired beauty. She obviously likes women and was on a mission. At one point, security took her a back, no drinks on the stage. Man.... funny to watch. Seany is amazing! Great vocals.
