Wow, she spotted her son right away! In the sea of cadets, all look and dress the same and have the same posture, yet this mom can accurately pinpoint where her son is and walk to him right away. Really shows how great she is and how close they are to one another. God bless both of them.

Some people are really amazing like that. My son was 2 years old when my husband/his dad got back from deployment. I let go of the boy for just a few seconds, and he took off running straight for his dad. Didn't wait for the brass to finish talking or anything. Just... 🚀 gone. Picked him out from the 60-someodd soldiers even before I could. If you want a full mental image, I'd purchased a toddler-sized desert camo uniform - including hat and little boots - and done it up with patch, flag, and nametapes in a pretty close resemblance to the real thing. I still have that tiny uniform.
I started Officer training a year before my Dad’s 39 year military career was due to end. When I commissioned he had 1 month of service left as Lt Col. As I passed off the parade square, he was the first person I saluted, and the first person from whom I received a salute back. Emotional times.

It's all BS for reals going to war for governments that are corrupt and they don't even know who you are. For what to be dead and be posted in pictures. 🤦🤔. I guess. The United States government is evil. Can anyone name me a government in the world that is not corrupt? Exactly!!! All The governments in the world are corrupt. Both the Republicans and the Democrats are a joke nowadays. That's only to divide US citizens while they control us. The United States government only invades small countries 10 or more against 1 small country not even bigger than Texas bravo 👏🤦.

Bless your soul and your heart and son in spirit
This is awesome. I love how she nonchalantly tapped his arm as she went to stand in front of him. He snapped to attention and rendered his salute as he was taught. I’m in the Army but from what I’ve seen most families make a gigantic celebration out of the Tapping Out ceremony, but they both seemed to know that there was one thing more important than that.
You can tell she's an amazing mom just be the way her son hugs her after that salute. That's a "you're my world" hug.
This video makes a lot of sense to my family. I recently retired from the army after 20 long years, my wife is currently still active duty, and our son is in the marine Corps.

My son was 12 when his mom went to Desert Storm. Then he joined the army when he turned 18 and I was so proud of him I am deaf so that is why I couldn't serve ..long story short. Both my son Ang his mom were deployed for operation Freedom.

I just love my military family. Very special moment for the both of them.
I just cried when I saw this😢 My father & 2 of my brothers represented 3 branches of military service with a long lineage of generations doing so as well in my family 🇺🇲 Im very patriotic & get choked up over anything military no matter who he or she is or which branch they serve under👨✈️👩✈️👨🚒👩🚒👮♂️👮♀️ They just ALL make proud to be an American & I thank them for their service 🙏😇💙
Incredible, my father a Major at the time swore me in the Army, I will never forget that dad. I think of you every day.
Ok this one got me misty eyed. I have a son who went to the coast guard and served 2years and that moment when they announce he’s not yours anymore does take a toll on your mental. But knowing that you raised a OUSTANDING individual who can give his life for his country is more then anything. Please continue putting these videos up so EVERYONE can see what we have to leave to achieve our goals and the family that stands with them.
