It was brutal. They just ripped jack into pieces first, but before he went down he took geoff out. Michael broke a bottle over ryans head and Alfredo grabbed a brick and finnished the job. Lil j was trying to run from Alfredo before he got taken out and Michael and Alfredo got ran over by lindsay. It was something out of a movie.

Not trying to bring old drama back, but I don’t think Geoff was even the close of voice of reason. He agreed with Ryan saying doing is better than explaining since visually you can get a grasp on the raid while I do agree with this. Michael, Jeremy, and Jack had absolutely not clue how to do the raid, in turn, makes the video kinda boring. The best part of a raid is when everyone does their part to beat the raid and it is a cooperation. Michael is the voice of reason since Michael knowing the situation and tries to explain that he can’t hear Alfredo at all since 6 people are talking (mostly Ryan talking which doesn’t allow the others to hear their part). Geoff tries to rebuttal saying speak louder and that I can hear him through his headphones tho. The real issue with this statement is that Geoff headphone doesn’t work which means that he cant hear 6 people in his ears while everyone does and why would Michael take out his headphone to hear Alfredo if the whole goal of the headphones is to hear other people to begin with. Ryan says he should just talk or talk louder but he is the one speaking over everyone which makes it difficult to hear Alfredo who is clearly speaking quite loud. I am siding with Michael and Jeremy. Just for the main reasons that there are editors to edit the explanation of the raid, Ryan is clearly speaking over everyone; which doesn’t allow anyone to hear Alfredo, Geoff saying Alfredo is mumble mouth; which is incorrect, and as an audience, I wouldn’t want to watch 20-30 worth of tries in a video (if they were all shown or even cut to short periods). I would rather watch a video of guys who I like finish a difficult raid and knowing what they do before hand. It is mostly because people in the comments would bash at them; not knowing how to do the raid even tho they could have been explained about it before. Most of us can agree that we would “cringe” when someone uses a shovel to get wood in Minecraft or using your fist to get stone because they didn’t know an axe is faster and easier to get wood or using pickaxe allows stone to be picked. Same analogy for this situation. Again, it just my opinion

@@blackrose8418 That is just not true lol. Remove Jeremy from this situation and you would still have a problem between Ryan and Jack/Alfredo/Michael/Geoff. Remove Ryan and there wouldn't have been an issue at all. Jeremy was not helping(and certainly was the second biggest contributor to the Salt) but it was 90% Ryan. He was absolutely the problem.

I still love how ryan thought you can just explain as you play the leviathan raid but that's not how it works. Having to explain the two dimensions and callouts while that chaos was happening would not have been possible. If I was Alfredo I would just walked out and let that room cool off because Ryan was just an absolute prick.

Being a godfather usually means you're the sponser for the kids baptism as well as help raise them through Christian faith. However since I know Geoff wasn't religious at the time and I'm not sure about Michael, godfathers/godmothers are also caretakers of the child if anything were to happen to the parents and other family can't take them in. In other words, being chosen as a godparent is usually a very special thing. As a jab, Michael "ungodfathered" Geoff for saying they're not friends

If Bungie doesn't take this moment and incorporate it into some future DLC somehow, i'll be very disappointed because this is what Destiny is all about, close friends fighting against each other lol

Alfredo's explosion over R is the reason I accepted Alfredo as a full fledged Achievement Hunter, and thus me growing to love him even more after the fact in later videos. This is a true great moment in AH history, current knowledge be damned.

"How limited do you think our fucking imagination is if I can't just say a sign!? What do you think it is, a giant fucking crocodile!?" - Alfredo's got you there, Ryan. And you can just tell how salty Ryan's been made by Alfredo.

I'm always going to see this as the day Alfredo solidified his place in Achievement Hunter.

Yeah, he was basically yelling over Fredo while he was explaining, yelling over Michael trying to explain the problem, and then yelling over everyone even trying to say anything (whether to him or anyone else).

Rewatching this after a long time, it fulfills a vengeful part of my soul to hear Alfredo yell at Ryan, he was a real dickhead.

This is why I love Geoff. He tried to stay neutral and see if it started to cool off a bit. But when he realized it wasn’t going to get better, he dropped the facade, went full boss mode, and told everyone to knock their shit off

Was just listening to a great You're Wrong About episode this morning about the myth that Yoko broke them up... makes this comment more true than ever. Compare that to their other raid video's, where they only have a slight clue about what's going on, and how fun they are. Alfredo, by explaining everything, cut out most of the good content.

You say that like they didn't get almost the entirety of the Oryx raid explained to them by flying Andrew Panton in. Also for the Iron Banner raid they all knew exactly what to do but it was just people fking up those aspects like Geoff being unable to jump properly that made it entertaining. Could you imagine that series if they didn't know what being empowered meant and that they had to slam the back of the raid boss and just kept wiping again and again? IDK about you but that does not sound like good content. Just get the fight explained and THEN learn by doing, nothing wrong with that.

In an unplanned fight, it would be a good bout. But I would not want to give the Mad King time to think up a revenge scheme.

I love when Jeremy is actually pissed when he says *FUCK* you can feel the Bostonian coming out.

their biggest complaint is that they take 2 days to do a raid becuase they dont know what they're doing. but they never wanna learn

This was the exact moment in AH when I wanted Ryan's egotistical self to be gone. Not like how it truely happened, but still glad it happened.

Nah, fuck him for everything that came out, but this moment in Destiny is still something I'll defend, it is far easier to learn the mechanics of something with a visual reference, Don't just stand there for 15 minutes rambling off a whole bunch of information, start the damn encounter and explain as we go, it makes it much more understandable, I understand his frustration. He turned out to be really fucking shitty but there was nothing wrong with this video.

This is the let's play that Alfredo won the title of best girl.

I'm still baffled that these guys were able to actually finish this raid O.o

Not gonna lie I’d never raid with Ryan no matter how much I love Achievement Hunter 😂 >explain the encounter >do a run to gain experience and understanding of the mechanics >talk about how to improve >do it again Cut the talking parts Put the multiple runs in the video

So from my point of view, Ryan was getting a bit cheeky about the switching parts and Jeremy fired back. Ryan got angry and Jeremy responded. Then Jack did a Jack and Ryan lost it. Geoff tried to keep the peace and they started arguing. Then Ryan with some residual salt wanted to go home after the earlier spat and so did the whole learn by doing. That pissed off the lads side. Michael tried to explain, Jeremy was pissed so he babbled, Ryan screamed back, Geoff took Ryan’s side for no reason, Jack was being Jack, and Alfredo snapped. Did I miss anything?

Not for no reason. Geoff was also probably bored to tears by the explanation for the dog part and knew they would have had to deal with the same or worse with the boss.

Update: I wanna say on an off topic maybe a month or two ago geoff said he agreed with Ryan because he thought Ryan was alone on his arguement

The Destiny 2 raid videos have become my new favorite AH productions (complete with some fun editing work), and the animations took them to the next level. I love seeing them put side-by-side like this!
