The Sales Budget
This video explains what a sales budget is and demonstrates how to create a sales budget with a comprehensive exam. A schedule of cash collections is included as part of the sales budget to show how the process works for firms that extend credit to their customers.

Sir you’re my new god
Where do we take info on how many procent we can collect every quarter (like 60% vs 40%) Is it a benchmark of previous quarters' sales/collections?
I'm glad I found such a great video. Just one small question, why it has to be account receivable ? Can we use revenue instead ? Because customers could pay cash.
Thx Bro u tought me well pagal :D
This is our report huhu goodluck to us tom.
You are amazing 🤩 thank you very much ..
i have a question that cash budget, budgeted income statement and budgeted balance sheet are like types of financial budget?
thanks so much; do you have free practice papers that I can run through?
Thanks much
so the 60% thats being collected first is that because of the 60 day credit term?
What happens if I sale a variety of products at varying prices ? How do I generate the unit and price for the period?
thank you! you pull me up
i wish i were enrolled in whatever school you teach
How will I know if it is accounts receivable is it given or it came from beginning balance? answer please asap..

Are you talking about how to forecast Accounts Receivable for a budgeted Balance Sheet? If so, just take the ending Accounts Receivable amount (from last year's Balance Sheet), add the budgeted sales, then subtract the estimated collections and direct write-offs of uncollectible accounts.
