Crispy, I want to thank you. I am not a veteran but I did 26 years as a firefighter and EMT. I suffer from PTSD and other mental problems. Each day is a struggle, most not being able to leave my house. It's my loving wife and you that get me through each day. Thank you and Crispy On!

You put on a different uniform. The emotional toll is worse in many aspects because people don’t want to hear about it. It’s a different kind of battle that takes and is silent. As a former Medic and Veteran I Thank You for your lacing up your boots every day for those 26 years even though you didn’t serve my community🙏🏻

As a civilian,I have the highest respect for our military, I don’t care what branch. I tried to get in at 21 years old,went through MEPS. And wasn’t accepted because I had epilepsy as a child. It hasn’t been a factor in my life for 40 years. So I just want to say my deepest respect for you men and women protecting our country. Love you guys.

Thank you brother. I don’t have friends to hang out with or a partner, it’s just me caring for my mother (dementia). I miss the Army. Really, always having someone around you. Does that make sense? You and other veterans with YT channels keep me going. Hooah!

Crispy I just wanted to say thank you for sharing this. And I could tell how tough it was getting through that, and it just shows what a true kind soul you are. I'm not a veteran, they turn me down for physical reasons, so I took my dream of being a Navy medic and became a civilian paramedic. I did that for about two decades, and because of some stupid choices that I made, I basically walked away from a career that I loved . Can't blame it on anybody but myself, though I've tried to. In a completely relate to you saying that you had lost your purpose, because I felt the same way. I'm now into my 50s, disabled and living by myself with my little best friend, and adopted pug. And he's been the reason that I keep going. And I'm at that point you were, where I'm trying to figure out what my purpose is. I think I have it figured out though I'm not really sure. But seeing what you pushed through daily is giving me the inspiration to start pushing through myself. I love watching your videos, and I turned to him when I need some inspiration. God bless you my friend, and hopefully in the near future I can share and let you know that I did find my purpose

Dear Crispy, I served from 02/2001 - 02/2007, I never saw combat or been shot at, I did combat support for OIF and OEF. I have seen the hell on earth my brothers have had to endure from the distance. I have struggled wondering what my purpose was in life. I really felt insignificant and worthless because I never went down range to be by my brothers side. When I got out of the military I promised our fallen brothers that I would live my life to the fullest. I promised never to take their sacrifice for granted. We both have the same mission after the military. Just live life to the fullest make our brothers who have fallen in battle proud. It's what we all would want for our families and friends to do. Live free and happy. Be the best you can be every day. I love you brother, I know you have many challenges, and we are very proud of Crispy just by being Crispy. I have to constantly remind myself I just have to live the best life I can do honor my fallen brothers. We have the same mission. I'm always checking in on your videos, I am a fan of my brother.

I would love to meet you someday sir, mad respect to you and all that you do to inspire many of us

I remember your post on IG when you posted this. This was my former brother -in-law and sister-in-law. Thanks for posting and honoring the both of them. I remember where I was when he called me and told me the news, it was Easter Sunday and my former wife and youngest daughter had just arrived at my parents house for lunch. He has remarried and is a pastor in Kansas now. Thanks again for honoring their story.

Came across your video of TAC and noticed your amputation, and became a subscriber. My grandson has an amputation on his left foot. We recently got into archery, and nothing slows him down. You and him are an inspiration. Thank you for your service and everything you do . Crispy on brother

Thanks for sharing this story brother not all hero’s wear a uniform but you once did and your still saving lives. Even if it’s only one that’s more than most can say. I’m lucky enough to have the privilege and honor to say that I have help 7 ppl get off of opiates. I don’t know if I saved any of there life’s but there much happier today. God bless you brother please keep telling your story. I’m very greatful I got to hear it on rob turklas channel years ago .

Thank you Crispy, whatever made you fight on let's others fight on! You definitely made a difference and life and you have already found your place in fulfilling your role that was meant for you. Back then you took the time and talk to me for about an hour or more when I was deployed and it gave me lots of strength, too. I also will never forget.🙏🏻 In that sense : Crispy The F On!

This hit close to home. My wife and I nearly drown in the Red Sea off of Jeddah when I was out there contracting (private beach, no one anywhere near us). I am sorry for the loss of the man that wrote that letter but I am glad that you are here, Crispy and this community, for the mutual support and healthy content. Love you guys.

Crispy here making me break out the tissues. I wouldn't know how to act either after getting this letter. I guess just feel and accept the love as hard as that is for some of us.

I appear to have something in my eyes. It’s stories like these that were the reason why after 9/11 I left the Medical Field to serve in a very different roll. I don’t regret the decision
