How many of them remain in service after say 25 years?

Same thing with the twin engine.. Triumph And Harley Davidson watch out. The fact is I used to hate RE, now I respect the brand and the leader for making it internationally acceptable product.

The current Generation classic looks more vintage than previous

Still remember the "Kadak Chai" review of the old Classic 350 by Varun. Too bad we can't recreate the kick start scene with the new one!

So beautifully done by RE. Looking at this machine I feel that somewhere Hindustan Motors could have kept Ambassador running as RE did with Classic.

I liked how the older classic allowed riders to be sloppy. Sloppy with gear changes, sloppy with throttle, and it somehow still managed to keep moving. I absolutely adored it for this laid back and undemanding nature. Will the new one fit that criteria ?

Does it also mean the beginning of an end for the industry of Bullet and Classic local mechanics and work shops dedicated to bullets/classic? They may have another 10 years to be in the business as the new J platform will need much lower maintenance and with low breakdown frequency

@@vroombk Lack of kick Lack of thump More visible plastic parts Rear tail light is ugly Small indicators BUT WE GOT REFINEMENT. I have Classic 500 BS 3 Squadron Blue ,I will choose it over the RE-BORN anyday. To be honest the BS 3 CLASSIC(350/500) is the best ENFIELD ever!

Should've mentioned the custom scene of Royal Enfield. I love my classic 350 for the simple and workable chassis it has, currently working on a bobber build with an extended swing arm and all the bells and whistles. I really do love my bike despite all the quirks.

Guys who hate RE classic, just don't get it. As Uncle Stuart says, Classic is not the fastest, the modern, the electrowizardy, the prettiest, the powerful. Its not about all the above things. Its for those who don't want to prove anything to anyone. Who love to be self absorbed, self feel good attitude. The riders "अपने ही मस्ती मे मस्त रहते है ". Even if a KTM whizzes past us, the classic rider doesn't give a c-rap. Even if there is a Ninja or Versys around, the classic rider doesn't bat an eyelash. Even a premium car doesnt bother the classic riders. The rider may get angry now and then, but the peace and calmness sets in quickly!! Hope you guys get the point.

Although there ia the new one But i still love my old Classic 350 signals WITH A KICK

Ummmm.....i really dont think people who understand and njoy the classic would be keyboard warriors. A classic owner doesnt get worked up when a group of ktms pass through...he just smiles and then get back to being immersed in the dug dug....yours truely, a classic owner

My riding range is 70-80 , vibrations never bothered me. Everything seems good in new classic except the looks. Old classic had raw looks and yes the round speedometer looks great. They should have provided trip and fuel indicator in seprate place.

When i was in college i have a choice to buy Karizma R, hero Hunk or RE Thunderbird... thanks god i choose RE, and even after 10 yr my Thunderbird is still alive and running and today i can't even spot hunk or Karizma R on the road..

Hey guys, as someone who has ridden the original REs of 40s,50d,60s up until now. In differing terrain from Ladhak to Western ghats. I think a lot more is expected. The bikes could be more powerful . Showrooms have definitely improved

If you are okay with spending more time & money on maintenance than the purchase of the bike, then go for an old RE
