I’d agree but Dave can never follow a script to save his life. God see if you can find the audio of him trying to do commercials for Howard Stern. Absolute Disaster. That being said, the man is a god and after reading his book 24 years ago or more; it changed my life and man was life easier to deal with from that moment on

The life of Dave. The only guy I ever listen to that makes it sound like being perhaps the best frontman of all time in one of THE most popular bands of OUR lifetime, was just like a sidenote in all of the other things he's done. Dave had / still has a zest for life that so many are looking for and can never find, Somehow, this dude found it. Loved the guy from his first scream on vinyl. ;-)

I cant imagine going on a cross country road trip with him ,but it would be a blast. I really have never seen the guy when he wasn't smiling . I think these videos are pretty damn cool. How many musicians and or singers ,as famous as DLR ,could pull this off. Good for Dave.

There must have been thousands of beer kegs at the US Fest in May of '83. David Lee Roth is so UNDER rated. So far I've turned three DLR fans onto the Roth Show who didn't know about it. There are so many fans who would love the Roth Show but don't know about it. David Lee Roth is a timeless legend! I think I'm going to put my smoking jacket on, go out into my garage, crack open a ice cold CAN of Coor's original, smoke some funny stuff and listen to some "Coconut Grove". Who wants to come?

I love these postings. WE used to say, on with our own lives, I do things such as running an equine therapy program for high risk youth, and veterans and first responders and their children.....and build programs for rescued animals, etc and cleaned out ghetto gang areas..................and Dave does his Dave things...............and one day, when we are old, we will sit on the porch and share the pictures and stories, all of us, Linda, Vincent, Patti, Jen and the Ryersons and many others...............but this is great, we can share and see all his travels and listen to his stories ............without the taking time from things we are all doing.......or the arguments...............good memories. Dave used to give me some money and say, go buy me some beer and cigarettes, I thought he was just too lazy to go get them for himself...........then found out one night when a bouncer told me not to buy beer for underage persons.....that he was younger than I was, I thought he was just a few years older and a lazy spoiled guy.............hope I did not add to his addictions.

In the late 70's my friend's parents sent us to the corner store to buy Camel cigarettes for them. We were like eleven or twelve. I sort of miss the old days before the preoccupation with "safety"and all that jazz. Van Halen!
