Thanks To you the Viewer for making this review possible! The skiing in this video was shot earlier in the season prior to crashing.

hi plz do boots (:
Honest review . I own this ski and the 24 Volkl Kendo 88 . Paid $ 489 flat . Love both . This ski RIPS ! Stiff and precise . For a good skier with good carving technique . IMO quicker turning than the Volkl . Lay them over and they really grip from tip to tail on the snow . Great turns ... short and long . I love skiing fast across the fall line on a ski with no compromise . This ski does it !! For off trail I ski the QST or Saloman Stance 96 .

Great picks!
I think the camber and tenacious grip of this ski hurts it in the trees, moguls and powder. Groomers, firm or Icy conditions is where this ski shines, love mine for those reasons. In the trees, moguls, softer deeper snow I turn to my Volkl blaze 86 skis, lighter, very smeary, quick and maneuverable.
I have the Rossi Exp 88 ti from 2021. It has the see through orange honey comb tip. Basically it’s a piste ski that can float a bit and was decent skiing in edge powder. But groomer first. Really liked that because I was teaching skiing and mostly on piste. But it didn’t crap the bed in up to foot of powder. Ran it shorter than my all mountain skis, 178 vs 186. The shorter length helped in trees. And the turn shape made it turn on a dime in tight trees here in Western, Washington. Was supposed to be my rock/ teaching skis but I got so confident on them, I ended up choosing on ski vacations where I wasn’t sure of hill conditions.

And if you’re not sure if the people you are skiing with can keep up or you are going slower to stay with them, a shorter radius, turning ski can help you enjoy the day. You can focus on making lots of sweet turns.

agreed, that's what I like about the Mirus Cor actually
Something to add to your list for next season's Testing, would love to know what you think of the BlackCrows Serpo and Camox. From IceCoast and have 70-30 split for on vs off trial.

It sounds like we'll have more BC's to review next season, their team has been tremendous to work with.
Hope you are feeling better! I see a bunch of these on the East Coast, so I guess they work out this side of the US.

Yeah doing better, still icing and heating but I'd say I'm 80% of the way healed
This could be “ The Ski of the Season!”
Love your content! You seem like a genuine dude. What are your thoughts on the Rossi Sender 94? Seemed like you were not a fan of the 106 and this seems too front side. Curious if you think the 94 is a good middle ground.

Thanks, they didn't have it at my shop to test unfortunately, only the 104 ti and the sender free 110. I didn't care much for the 104 ti but loved the free 110s
i own this ski, i got it new 2 seasons ago for an insane price, i could not refuse (499 dollars). initially i thought it would be my "poor snow, groomers only ski" but the way it lets me mix up turnshapes is just so much fun and it has become my daily driver. It does really well on ungroomed crusty windbuff doing gs turns down steep but wide open terrain. I like it in bumps too. but fresh snow and tight ungroomed terrain is not its strength :). it rivals the Brahma and kendo for sure, maybe even quicker and smoother edge to edge.

It was my biggest surprise of the day!
This is what I feel too, very good ski for groomed trail but just ok for off trail. Would like hear your opinion for K2 mindbender 89ti, demo it once and feel it’s a good all mountain skis

Hard to find them locally but I did review the 99ti's
According to skiessentials, the 185 weighs in at nearly 2000 grams and the 176 is 1800.

Rad thank you
I feel as if back in ~2014, every 4th ski in the lift lines in VT was a Rossi Experience, but over the years they've all but disappeared.

I've seen the same with both Rossi and Dynastar lately

The carbon exp is the rental ski at Stratton. When I had mine they blended right in hahaha. But I upgraded to the QST and never looked back.
It is nice to see that Rossi is relevant again.. I remember racing on Rossi 4S Equip.. I would also add that groomers really aren't groomers during late season.. You might get a couple runs on those skis before everything gets soft and cruddy.. My guess is that they are a great early season ski..

These were actually reviewed February 26th, I was just back logged and finally came back to the review (though the winter was so weird the snow does look like it could be from april).

@@RicketySkiReviews There is a lot to consider when buying a pair of skis.. Leap Day was the last day that I skied.. Normally by 11 the snow was starting to soften up.. Those skis would have worked nice up until around 10..
To me this is an all mountain ski for people that think they ski the whole mountain .... but actually don't. It's really a slightly wider on trail option. (And a great one) Some people think all mountain means green's, blues and blacks...😂😂 It really means; bumps, park, glades, side hits, cliff drops, " hike to" terrain and more! The term all mountain gets used a little bit too loosely in my opinion.

@@RicketySkiReviews Little hard to tell on some of these websites what data is actually saying.
They have quite alot of camber height, it's probably why they kinda suck off trails. I actually skied quite a bit on the basalt version as I restarted to ski last year and they were perfect for an intermediate. I still used them quite a bit this year as they are easy going and were doing fine in choppy snow or when my legs are tired compared to my forza 70 which don't like skidded turns. They are also quite smooth with the rubber and rocker at the tip. The experience 86 is getting phased out next year and is being replaced by the Arcade.
