For those of you hoping for a Part 2, think again. There is no need for a second part; even if there was one, it would most likely destroy the entire series. In the video, Ryan actually wanted to tell Ellis about the fact that Aaron was cheating on her. He saw Aaron with another woman at a restaurant a week earlier. Ryan wanted to notify Ellis somehow, since they were about to get married. However, he did not do this since he did not want to hurt Ellis' feelings. As a result, he used the rose Aaron left behind as a message to Aaron himself. Ryan knew that Ellis would most likely talk about him (and the rose he gave her) to Aaron. The rose reminded Aaron of the glances he shared with Ryan at the restaurant. He was anxious when Ellis said that Ryan had something to tell her. Aaron (with the rose in his hand) knew what Ryan wanted to say. At that moment, he probably realised how close he was to being caught red-handed. To sum it up, Ryan 'told' whatever he wanted to say to Aaron himself (through the rose), and not Ellis like he had originally planned.

i would take the risk telling her using the best way. make it "worth it". Honesty is the best policy. HOPE THERE WILL BE PART 2!

For those who dont get it, here: Ryan, The friend of alice was going on a date with another girl when he saw alice's Boyfriend, Eren, Going out with another girl. Eren and the other girl seemed to have fun and walked out holding hands, leaving the rose from the start of the date on the floor. Ryan stopped his own date and decided to go out, as well picking up the rose. He went out with the rose in his hands and stared at Eren and the other girl, walking together, Eren looked back to See Ryan before they left. One week later Ryan calls Alice, her old high school friend to meet at a coffee shop, supposedly to vatch up and because her birthday was coming, they went out to the marina bay and talked. when Ryan decided to tell her what he witnessed last week, she misunderstood it as a confession and Ryan just said to forget about it. He dropped her off at her apartment and gave her a "Birthday gift", and alice went in for her to see Eren working. He notices the Rose inside the container and flashes back to last week, for Alice to ask Eren if he had seen him then. He lied and said no, saying that he was busy with work, only for the truth that he was cheating

What amazes me is that this video quality is way better than most, if not all Malaysian and Singaporean films/ tv series broadcasted.

one thing i realized was something superior to many other short films ive seen. the conversations were so casual yet eloquent. the realistic aspect of it made me adore the main two characters. i got goosebumps with the way the filmography and music went so well together. in love with the production in its entirety. glad i discovered such a wonderful creation.

If i was a billionaire i would definitely pay you 100k for making #therose part 2 ..nicely done and good job bro..i already watch it like 100 times and still watch it all over again.

This is some out of the world cinematography for a short film. That's just awesome.

Hi JinnyBoy, Great film! I personally find the script very well written as it kept me in suspense at the right moment. The rose object fits perfectly in the screenplay. I also particularly liked the videography done by NOC. The transitions were very well done especially at the climax. As an audience, I can feel the emotions of the conflicting relationships which made the story very compelling. Also I really enjoyed Marianne's acting! Her acting is so natural~ Hope to see her more in your videos!

Love the part where the rewind was played back normally, the story really started to come together with the music in the background enhancing the effect of the excitement unraveling the mystery, absolutely dramatic and I could really feel the climax of the plot there. Job well done!

It's May 2020 and I only just discovered JinnyboyTV a few days ago! I've been bingeing Jin's videos non-stop since then. The quality and storylines are simply superb. The Rose is my favourite so far.

IT WAS INTENSE ! I had some instinct about some twist involving cheating stuff before and tbh music made it so so clear . This was worth watching .keep coming up guys. ♥👑

What a cliffhanger...that was very powerful ending..

This was really a good story. I mean like if you really like and care about that girl, of course you would wanna tell her about the thing, but you won't wanna see her sad and cry. Kelven Khor I think the rose will make the boyfriend think deeply about what is he doing and what sin is he committing. Maybe that's why Jin gave her the rose, expecting the boyfriend to notice it.

This is CINEMA QUALITY!!! I haven't seen a lot of movies that can compare, and even those take an hour to tell a story u guys told in minutes. The ending is not for everyone but it's still cut at the perfect moment to let the viewers fill it out in their own way (if that was your intention...) and for those who criticized the acting, ask yourself if u could have done better.

Wow that was fantastic, not only the storyline and plot twists but the mere idea of using the rose as a symbol in this story and to bring out each individual's emotions was just astonishing.

This is probably going to get lost in the sea of comments but this short apparently really stuck with me for years. It’s been what five or six years since I first watched it and it inexplicably popped into my head last night and I had to find it again before I could rest. Everything about this short is still so excellent. The cinematography is stunning and the pathos is so powerful my heart still clenched the same way years later. The care and attention put into this project is so visible and it obviously made a lasting impact on me. I’m still so impressed that this just exists and I can return to it again. Really really incredible hard work !!! ❤️❤️❤️
