My wife has mast cell. She has been blown off by all Doctors but one who is a holistic doctor and he put her on a blood type diet and lo and behold her attacks almost completely went away. She is also triggered by mold and stress! But she has been much better and we now try to stay away from triggers.

Some people in the MCAS facebook group say that vaccines affect them. I had a bunch of mercury fillings when I was a teenager and now I'm 60 years old. I have had sensitivity to sugar since childhood. My symptoms to histamine food is feeling hypoglycemic and brain fog. I didn't figure this out for 45 years and no doctor helped me figure this out. I read that cytokines affect blood sugar and that histamines affect blood sugar. No doctors know this?

Great video! Never thought of histamine until recently. What made a HUGE difference for me is fasting. I've had MCAS for two years and nothing helped. In the beginning I noticed a change cutting out dairy and wheat from my diet. But when I recently started to do prolonged water fasts I seem to be completely healed. I did two 36 hour fasts in three days and it was like flipping a switch. I don't get triggered from cleaning my house anymore, I can manage hot baths and I can even work out. I've got my life back after two years pretty much house bound.

I have a script to get the urine / blood test for MCAS but here is the problem: I react badly to all corn derivatives. and after I do this test to prove I have MCAS I am supposed to take antihistamines. but all antihistamines contain corn derivatives! so I am supposed to take a corn s derivative to stop a reaction from a different corn derivative! it makes no sense! the corn exposure also gives me Pots on top of the other reactions. so I am busy avoiding tons of stuff. have bad reactions to food, chemicals, scents. etc. as far as I know this is all genetic.. including the MCAS. the MUSC did a study and it seems that MCAS travels on the gene for hEDS.. which is why the 3 are often seen together: pots, EDS, MCAS (plus gut problems). its genetic!

Hi! New subscriber here! My son has mold toxicity and two types of Bartonella. He’s going crazy, and his doctor (Thank God I found her!) thinks he’s having a herx reaction. However, I keep seeing things about mast cells. I think this is the issue. What is causing the head pressure? Is it toxins? Sugar? Diet? He’s on a prescription antihistamine, stopped his antibiotic, and is taking 800 mg ibuprofen 3 times a day. He keeps talking about this head pressure, but I don’t know what’s causing it. He smokes a LOT! Oh, BTW, breast implants cause this stuff! Pure toxins! I had to have them removed 4 years ago, change my lifestyle and diet, and I’m still not well!

I take low dose naltrexone for my hEDS pain, it's great. I still react, but much less severely. Instead of anaphylaxis, it's just gi urgency.

Stanford university have found mold to be a part of why CFS is actually mold induced biotoxin illness. Mast cell, mCAS is most likely an underlying comorbidity. @@tangieshogelola6898 MCAS (mast cell activation syndrome) is often triggered when a person has biotoxin illness or toxic mold exposure. It mostly causes sudden loss of muscle tone as soon as I put anything in or on my body, breathe anything much etc. I have Craniocervical instability which I know can also be a factor but can’t treat that because of the muscle tone problems. I have also had ME/CFS for 27 years. I dint have any histamine symptoms. I react badly to Quercetin, B12 injections, Turmeric, LDN, all the mast cell stabilisers etc etc. I have no idea where to start. Do you do online consults? I am in the U.K.

@@gardengirl9099sure, DNRS is dynamic neural retraining system..a program designed by Annie Hopper to use brain rewiring techniques to heal from all sorts of trauma, chemical sensitivities, etc. There is one by Gupta as well. The one I took focuses on the limbic system, and retrains your body to get back into a parasympathetic state so that you can heal, but I won’t recommend them because I had a bad experience with them. But the two I mention here are the original ones anyway.

Genetics. See this video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/l2SYsbOmeLSoetI.htmlsi=ldGE9Kw2Bs1BqolK Excellent vid that explains the origin story behind the chemical sensitivity and mast cell activation syndrome. Also if you use scented products in the home...any scented products, laundry soap, dish soap, body lotion, air fresheners, 'essential oils', etc. Also if the baby food has any artificial dyes, preservatives, etc...baby might be sensitive to those things and body is responding. If baby is allergic to pollens, known IgE allergens...this is different than mast cell. Though mast cells also cause the allergies but mast cell activation is your immune cells reacting to very low levels of chemicals, foods...like broccoli...which is not a normal allergic food.

I went on a super strict low histamine diet, then I discovered from hour and hours of research a specialist, her name is Dr Maggie here on Utube .. she said when a new patient comes to her she starts them on probiotics. Well I went to her online shop and discovered all the strains she uses, checking the probiotics she sells. I purchased them off Amazon. And no lie the severe itching and migraines and horrible hives, were gone the next day. I’m a week into the probiotic. And I feel great. She believes it from gut problems so we need to address the gut. Hope that helps.
