seeing how many balads are coming in this year and that italy and norway are favorites, this will be last place in jury vote and maybe top 5 in televote so maybe just in 9th ot 10th at best

@@konkeybongo9458 It's ESC. Eurovision SONG contest. If ESC would be all about the vocals, all opera singing participants should have been a winners, as they have the most powerful voices. ESC needs a full package, and that's exactly where this song stands.

Those hand movements above his head probably symbolize "fire". "The heat is getting higher I feel that I'm on fire..."

Letter "J" pronouncation. English - John, French - Jean Pierre, Spanish - Jose. German - Johan. It is very interesting how it evolved... but Lithuania use German type of J ;) "Or it is more true to say Germans use Lithuanian version, coz obviously linguistically talking lithuanian languagague is nearly the oldest alive.

@@musMiro An easy way to remember is that ALL European languages except for the Romanic languages and English pronounce it the same. It's Spanish/Portuguese/French/Romanian and English who do weird stuff with their "J". Literally everyone else pronounces it like "Johann" or "naujo".

The singer (who is also an author of this song) said that “On fire” is referring to ageism. He is 38 and he could not stand hearing comments about what he is already too old to do, thus the creation of this song. This makes “On fire” even more likeable. Btw I’ve been waiting for your review, thanks!!

Yes The Roop is great and modern if only Lithuania could send two songs they both would be top 10 or even top 5. However Eurovision songs tend to do more well with strong messages, Make me human that song every person relates to it and it’s emotional aswell, it’s about acceptance of who you are, no matter your origin, body shape, orientation we all should feel human equality without judging each other. Monique can win the whole contest

If the 3 Baltic countries can somehow manage to send Majakad (Estonia), On Fire (Lithuania) after already getting Samanta Tina thru in Latvia, we will have to call Eurovision 2020, the year of the Baltic Bangers. It's not 'eastern J', since many Germanic languages also use J for [j] instead of [ʒ].

I agree with you when it comes to the stage. This is a good entry for a small stage but I really see more staging potential in Monique's song for Eurovision. I mean we are going to see it this Saturday in Zalgirio arena which is close in size to an actual Eurovision stage and compare.
