If you can afford a car like that then buying proper brand clothes is chump change for you and you feel 10x more comfortable (fabrics really do make a difference) and you just look better and feel better because of it.

I've just had the pleasure of driving one of these for the past 12 months while my in-laws were out of the country here in Australia. I've never owned a luxury vehicles but I've enjoyed watching Doug's reviews. My father in-law owns a number of high end luxury cars and super cars but the RR is his daily driver and suggested that I use it for my daily driver. This came with some suspicious looks from my neighbors and my employees at my business and the owners of the businesses next door to mine, which was so funny as I just acted differently which made it even more hilarious until I told them who owned the car. It is a huge car, something I had to get used to and thankfully it wasn't too big it wouldn't fit into my garage. Its so comfortable and luxurious its like driving in a lounge room. The one I drive is a white with stainless hood which I am glad of especially here in summer. The paint job on the one Doug reviewed didn't seem to be as shinny as I would've expected. My father in-law had a high end car detailer look after his. But the best part came when my in-laws returned home. My wife and I are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary this year and as a gift we are getting the RR drop head coupe 😁 he hasn't told us what he is buying as an upgrade but I think it will be a bently this time as he hasn't bought one in 20 or so years. I honestly am so excited and in two weeks I'll be the owner of a rolls Royce drop head coupé.

RE: the car seat adjustment being hidden vs the heater buttons being readily available: how often will somebody adjust their seat vs turn on/off heated seats during ownership? I think the RR engineers assumed the latter would happen way more often.

Drophead coupe has been in the British parlance for some time. A drophead coupe means a 2-door convertible with windup windows and full weather protection, as opposed to a roadster.

I'd love to get a look at Doug's "Little Black Book" of Umbrella Doug Scores. We know he never returns umbrellas after "evaluating" them. So, he's surely amassed a vast collection of the very finest umbrellas by now and constructed a Secret Man-Cave Umbrella Museum to display his trove and keep it safe.

I think the Doug score was incorrect for this car. But that said it is Doug's score after all and the Doug score is definitely biased towards exotic sports cars.

coupe has nothing to do with the number of doors. originally coupe was any car that didn't have a top half of the door. there are many 4 door coupes out there.

Drophead is badass. Don King got one back in 2007 and drove it to the office a couple days a week. Makes me miss south Florida. I used to work for him in Deerfield Beach

my fiesta does a better job. also, you buy a 1/2 million dollar car and they recommend CASTROL?! they don't even recommend the best oil, or even close to it. wheres royal purple? amsoil? redline? i don't recommend castrol for anything other than a shit car. don't buy shitty oil, don't buy castrol.

It's an very tall car anyway, the standard wheels are 21's with massive sidewalls so it's not like the 24's contribute any more to the height

Yip. For a horrendously expensive car, the sound the doors make when closing sounds very cheap. I bet that C-Class Doug showed at the start sounds better. I know a Jaguar's doors sound better when you close them.
