The Rockets FAILED Curry Experiment

Спорт

After a while it just seemed like Curry figured out how to get Harden to flop but get no foul call, which just leads to Harden taking a bunch of weird shots he can't make

You’re wrong. Harden shot like 4/5 in the fourth. Except he had around 3 turnovers. Curry was slowly making Harden pass which led to steals. Curry isn’t a fantastic defender but he is definitely a sneaky one

I love how harden give those tough shots to his teammates in the end of the shot clock so he doesn't hurt his percentage

Stupid statement. His percentages are always low because he takes to many crazy shots. When the game was out of reach and his teammates hadn’t helped the hole game he was trying to get them to get involved. If you actually took time to see the man he truly is and not go along with what others say you would know how dumb your statement is.

James Lee --- I'm 70 years old so it's safe to say I've been out of my moms basement many more years than you. Also I never use cuss words towards people because that shows low class. At the time of this post Rocket players were wondering around expecting Harden to be a miracle man and he said he can't do it alone he needs those guys to step up. The game was already over for them so why not try and get some positive action out of the others. Something worked because they played more like a team the next game. Everything I said was FACT. Harden does have low shooting percentages because he does take to many crazy shots that have no chance of going in. My point is Mounir said Harden was more worried about lowering his shooting percentages so he was passing. When the fact is just the opposite he shoots when he shouldn't thus that indicates he has no concern about his percentages. Harden also has more touches per game than most players in the NBA. I know I'm dumb according to you but if he doesn't how come he's 3rd in assist playing with Paul who also is a top assist leader in the league ? Most games he is responsible for over 50% of the Rocket's scoring by what he scores and by the assist he's involved in leading to scores. Now run along and cuss other people so your night is complete.

@@1951RKP lol your both wrong...he passes to his team mates with 1-2 seconds left for the assists, not to save his %-his efficiency would be much better if he wasn't chuckin up bad shots looking for fouls half the time tho lol! Dude is after the individual accolades without a doubt. Maybe he actually thinks it will lead to winning but if you don't think he's trying to pad his stats you aren't watching him play (or your biased/from Houston)

Danny Blau what???? Did u watch the game or this video? As usual, the only way curry got away was cuz of how good a defense he has around him. In the first half he got burned and in the second half the Warriors were literally switching off ball just so curry shouldn't have to defend the ball which only he would have the luxury of, cuz he has klay iggy kd and dray hu all can take any guard or wing and communicate so well. If curry was on any other team, the rockets would've run their pick and roll and got curry switched on to harden who would've scored or lobbed to capela or kicked out to wide open shooter every single time

I completely agree with u this read game 1. Where the rockets ran 45 iso plays, basically ignoring their whole team but harden. Yes I did watch the game and video. They were so focused on getting curry on harden, they were eating up most of the he shot clock and not involving anyone. Yes curry wasnt stopping harden, but he did his best to hang in. But in that game specifically, the warriors just stayed with their men with the occasional collapse from the center position so harden didnt have open shooters to kick out to.

Houston loves isolation but they usually don't do it *this* much. They got suckered by the dumb meme that Curry is bad at defense. While they went at Curry, GSW's lead stretched, and Curry made several great defensive plays in the clutch, including picking Harden twice.

I really like how you explain the offense/defense... I love basketball but I don't know alot (barely anything actually) about how offensive plays/defensive plays work. Like what the strategies are. I know you're supposed to find an open/clear shot/clear drive but I don't know how you play make to get that. This video really opens all that up and shows the flaws in the defense and offense for me, I appreciate that! I just subbed!

Their entire offense is around the pick n rol > abuse the matchup. Usually it is Harden isoing against a big, but when the defense collapses he kicks it out to any of the shooters standing still at the perimeter. A good defensive team will not allow a team with 3 stagnant players to win.

Devin Cruz Right all the rockets gameplan is chuck up 40-50 threes a game, if you’re not making the 3s, chuck up some wild ass shot and flop so you get free throws. Then on the next possesion dribble the ball for 23 seconds and pass it to a heavily contested man on the wing for a terrible shot. The ONLY reason that series even went to 7 is because in game 4 and 5 the Warriors made some stupid mistakes in the clutch.

With Harden scoring 41 even after Warriors put a lot of pressure on him it appears Warriors decided Harden can’t beat them alone so let him get his points and shut the rest down. What will come next if Hardens teammates keep just standing around the Warriors will exhaust him then it’s totally over. Big difference is Warriors are playing as a team by everyone on the court is getting involved Hardens teammates look like they are totally dependent on him. This is what happen in the last several years. All the new guys they got supposedly changed all that. They didn’t in game one and if they don’t in game two may as well make vacation plans.

Man I already knew Houston was going to get swept from day 1! You cant outscore the Warriors, no way you'll win. You need a small forward that can go head to head with Durant, you need a long and athletic defensive team, and you need to get in their head and make them not trust each other. Their is only one team that has that roster, shocking turnaround... it's the team that he left!

Colonel's Office Lebron can't beat GS if he's the starting small forward in any team because he makes his teammates worse by turning them to catch and shoot players or ISO players. Kyrie will make Boston worse because he can't score unless he takes 10 dribbles and that makes his teammates have the ball less and minimize their talent

I'm a rockets fan and I knew the conference finals would be their ceiling, the warriors are a better team on both ends bar none. I was hoping they'd prove me wrong but I didn't have high hopes like so many other people seemed to have.

Peyton Hislop I dont get how one game made everybody talk about sweeping rockets. Now what they going to say? Rockets looked better then the warriors did. They number 1 seed for a reason also rockets have the better offense clearly... and have all season
