Let’s not summarize this. The Rock and Stone Cold are THE greatest ever. You can argue for Cena, but it’s a pseudo argument. Nobody in the industry made the advances monetarily or culturally like those two (prior to social media). The Rock had way more to him and that’s why Hollywood supported him being the best selling actor for years. Nobody else from the industry is close. The attitude era is the WWE at its finest. The Rock ran that era.

The Rock is the most mainstream recognized wrestler of all time. People who don't watch wrestling know who he is. Even kids know who he is. More than Hulk Hogan in the 80s. He has wrestling pedigree in his blood. He was well rounded, can do everything well in the ring, and can convincingly keep up with any opponent. A victory over The Rock can make a star instantly, as seen by the invincible Brock Lesnar. Definitely in the top 5 greatest of all time is The Rock

My favorite "it doesn't matter" is The Rock as the referee and a close 2nd is the dudley boys one. Sidebar: The people's eyebrow, turning his head to the crowd, and smelling the air are just as iconic as the promos 😂

Absolute legend… With some wrestlers you’d rather see then wrestle than listen to a boring promo or midsection. With The Rock you was just as excited to see or hear what he would do or say in every midsection, skit and promo as much as you was to watch him wrestling - he was just so good to watch 👍
