@DannyDeVito the rocks character name his black atom sometimes called black Adam. in the USA during slavery it was normal for white people to call a black man "black joe" for example giving him a nickname that was some what rascist you know being black is not the only thing that makes a man so calling somebody black Adam or black joe can bee seen has a rascist insult. the word Honkey is a racial term for a white person in the southern united states it is a offensive slang term for a white person more specifically a redneck. so one hero is called black Adam and the other would be honkey Pete the joke is about race that is why it is so funny because you have black atom and white Pete just a normal white guy. they are pretty much bashing the hero name black atom because the name can easily be played with.
