Dave Chappelle Reveals Why Kevin Hart Is A Hollywood Mutt
Dave Chappelle is finally speaking out on rumors that Kevin Hart sold his soul for fame and Dave reportedly believes that Kevin would have never made it big if he didn’t agree to do some things he previously SWORE he’d never do…
Dave Chappelle and Kevin Hart are both extremely successful comedians - however, unlike Kevin, Dave has been very outspoken about the dark side of Hollywood and all the ways he was screwed over by the industry higher-ups who wanted to control him…

The agenda is to immasculate the men of the US.. A beta male culture creates weakness which gives the "elite" more power over the people. A country full of feminine men will never stand up to power. They wont join the military, become fire fighters, etc, they wont protect women and children. This is their goal and they use public figures as examples. Now its the gay and trans agenda and theyve moved onto the kids. This is about power and control.

Yes. It used to be common for comedians to dress up as women. A couple of Martin Lawrence’s most famous characters on “Martin” were were Sheneneh Jenkins and Edna ‘Mama’ Payne. I feel like both he and Tyler Perry were inspired in part by Flip Wilson. One of his famous characters was Geraldine Jones. It was common for comedians then to dress in drag for bits, including Jerry Lewis and many others.

Always bothered me how they went (and still go) after him. Love Dave and his work. He reminds me of a modern-day George Carlin, with his social commentary-laced comedy and his willingness to tackle and joke about current topics, no matter how sensitive they are. The praise he gets from Joe Rogan and other comics is well-deserved.

Dave wore a dress in my favorite movie of all time: Robin Hood Men in Tights. So I have no idea what changed. It was ok at first to get him started in his acting career (that was one of his first movies.) I can think of a lot of movies with men dressed as women, both black and white. (Mrs Doubtfire, White Chicks, Tootsie, Willow, and on and on and on.) In fact, just imagine what actresses go through being asked to do nude scenes! I feel like this entire situation has been blown out of proportion.

I think a distinction Dave hasn't explicitly stated is that he won't dress like a woman if it's only him and/or if that's the whole joke. In Robin Hood Men in Tights the cross dressing is a ruse to break into the castle (which is originally from the source novel I believe) It was also a 'team effort', they broke in together and were all dressed up together. Subjectively, it also didn't feel like the 'joke' was that they were dressed as women either, the only joke I remember from those scenes are Blinken being told to fix his boobs cause he 'looked like a bleedin' Picasso' which is another blind joke rather than 'man wearing women clothes is funny'.

I'm not trying to hate on Dave, but I'm hating on the fact that he's acting like he never said yes to being a lil' extra in a role that he was already hilarious as hell in.

The actual reason cultural. Most content involving black men is hyper masculine. Dudes with rock hard abs and body or thugs. The image of black men rarely shows nerdy men or straight artistic men. We have traditionally only promoted/presented stereotypical square jawed masculine often tall men. Look back at every black romantic comedy and you will find the same basic idea. This makes the idea of black men in a dress so funny because the idea of a feminine Black man seems outlandish and impossible. We do a version of this for Black women who are known for being bold, confident, loud. So when we make a story of a Black woman beginning as a victim she was often portrayed as small and mousy until she stands up to her abuser.

When it comes to the dress wearing thing I think there’s a difference… Robin Williams was white and he did Mrs. Doubtfire way back in the day (which was hilarious). That was a single role though, with a specific purpose. Most of the cast of “In Living Color” did skits dressed as women or gay men and it was also hilarious (fairly sure they all wrote their own jokes too). When you start getting to Kevin Hart and Tyler Perry though… it just hit different.

With all due respect it is so important that we don't slide into this sense of victimization. Boundaries are important. Nobody HAS to do something they don't want to do. You can want to do something unpleasant becuase it is "the right thing" or because it brings personal gain. And in an unjust society, a refusal to do something you don't want to do may incite reprisal and unwanted reaction, but it is still a choice. In this case, Dave does not want to be a pawn to Hollywood culture, even if that means missing out on opportunities, because he sees the destruction that the elitist mindset has on communities of color and young minds. Kevin Hart does want to be a pawn to Hollywood culture because he cares more about personal gain than the issues brought up by Dave. Values underlie will. Will dictates want/choice.

And so those very wealthy behind hollywood are on a mission to create and speed up a Far Left Liberal culture ,and so they recruit most influential celebrities ,to help them with that. It is also possible that they see David Chappel popularity and influence as something very dangerous for them , if for example he choose to join politics. So those 50 millions offer was the start of a long recruitment campaign ,to keep him out of politics and move him towards the far left fake culture movement. That's what is all about . I stand with Dave all the way. The man speaks the truth, has lines he refuses to cross for a price which speaks volumes about the kind of man he is. I like what he said about them pushing people laughing at him instead of with him! There is a big difference. Thank you Dave for staying true to comedy, to us, and for yourself. ❤

You have to admire celebrities like Dave Chappelle, Mos Def, Kat Williams, Cory Feldman, Kanye West and Russell Brand for exposing Babylon (i.e. Hollywood).

I do miss Hollywood producing actual funny stuff, though. It's dead now. Just PC crap mostly. Weirdos trying to make rules about what you can and can't joke about. Dave is the only one who's really stayed funny and not sold out.

So, actors really CAN refuse to do things that make them uncomfortable. So some of them do have personal integrity.

kevin never actually said he wouldn't wear a dress. he said he'd never been asked to wear one. then he said you have to set boundaries to protect your brand. but he didn't say the dress was a boundary for himself. dave let it be known he wasn't with wearing a dress. so whatever your boundaries are, set them and stick to them.

@@brumtownmiller6130 Thing is too...they're showing clips from stuff like In Living Color.....weren't like all the primary writers black? It's not like "Hollywood" was telling them to wear a dress. Hell, Flip Wilson was doing it as a skit of his own design over 50 years ago. Dressing up as the opposite sex has been a staple of comedy bits for like over a century. Lol. Every member of Monty Python, who were all white, did it countless times. Or that clip of Wesley Snipes in "To Wong Foo"....first of all, the white and hispanic actors (Patrick Swayze and John Leguizamo) are also in drag. Secondly, it's not like someone in Hollywood was producing a standard Wesley Snipes "action movie" or something and just said "Hey! Let's dress him as a woman in this!" The MOVIE IS ABOUT DRAG QUEENS....so odds are, if you agreed to a role as a main character, you're going to be wearing a dress.

@@KClouisville I don't see the big deal, wearing a dress for acting isn't a big deal unless they like it lol the wayans did it also. I like chapelle but I think this is an over exaggerated situation. To me there's way worse things going on behind the scenes in Hollywood to be famous that wearing a dress isn't a big deal. I can understand people not wanting to do it but its not some big conspiracy theory.

My respect for Mr. Chappelle and Mr. Williams has just increased after viewing their comments. I worked for years in the high end building business (homes mostly) in and around this Hollywood crowd. Almost EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM have proved to be despicable human beings. And it doesn't matter if they are in front or behind the cameras. Out of DOZENS of them, I can only say maybe two or three were people of respectable character.
