Great video. Advice to any beginners - If it's really hot and you go without waders, don't leave your phone in your shorts' pocket! Also, put something on your feet because it is weever central around there. Finally, you need to use crab, it's not worth the walk to use anything other bait.

Ive had hounds and thornies on squid but it is not as effective as peeler/softies. And dont underestimate hardback crab either. Every single fish you ever take for the table is full of pound sized hardback crabs, is it not? .. Dont be scared to experiment. TL

you will catch them them straight out from the double slipway , this is still the rock channel .

I'm not confident enough to try that on my own yet , I'll have to hook up with a Facebook group or something. Cheers mate.

No anglers where killed making this video! 😂😂 seriously though be very careful doing the crossing I did it once and stepped into a hole and my chest waders filled up with water not a nice experience! Great video though and you can catch some nice fish there, my mate found a small angler fish in one of the sand pools a couple of years ago 👍

That was a great video! Makes me wonder how the mark was discovered in the first place. So challenging to get there. What was the bait? I must try on the Sussex coast - I know we have them (and skate) here.

The rock channel gulley yearssss ago use to be much closer to shore. It moved further of shore when the groins were put in. This was wayyyyy before my time, but these are the stories of other local fishermen ive spoken to. Great venue.
